In hind sight I should have gotten this Cache dress. I think that the fit is perfect and the dress has a good combination of class, style, modesty, and a bit of sexiness! I went back about a month after I tried it on and looked for it again. I showed this picture to the sales woman and she remembered the dress but said it sold out pretty fast. So I guess other women liked how it looked too!
Only a bit of fun this one. I wonder if he's thinking, "I'm sure I forgot something.... nah, can't think what it might be."

I purchased these shoes and this dress for my cruise, but my dress didn't arrive in time for my cruise. Actually, it just showed up today, a week after I got back from my cruise. And to top it all off, the dress doesn't even fit me. I guess that's what I get for shopping at Forever 21 when I am 24. *sigh*
I did, however, create a make shift outfit with the dress. Nothing I could ever wear in real life, but in theory it looked cute. Haha.
52 Weeks of feelin' fit - Week 6 // I definitely have not been loving my body as much as I should have been this week. But look how hot my legs look! Hahaha! Next week will be better. I know it.

Way back (and I mean WAY BACK) in my existence there was certainly a fascination with how females looked. But, of course, that was an impossibility for me. There was simply no way!
But gradually, as I aged, it dawned on me that some sort of femulation was possible. And so, today, here I am.
So, to address my own question: Yes, sort of
Another view of my new dress, I have another new dress which I’ll wear tomorrow, it’s a maxi boho tiered style, not sure how I’ll look but fingers crossed. This photo gives a better view of the neckline and fullness of the the dress. It’s really lovely to wear, I’m so looking forward to wearing it outside at a pretty gardens.
Today I started on the kitchen, cleaning and reorganising - very hard work!

Well this dress comes out about once a year, its a favourite of mine but goes way back. Here paired with Clio Derby stockings, pink stilettos and a black tie top. The nylons seemed appropriate for the occasion, it was Derby after all. 17th May 2019
You can see how much Alana loves her dress with the way she looks down at it and slides her hands over the delicate lace. She seems mesmerized as if she can't believe she's wearing such a beautiful dress. This is the kind of dress that makes you proud to be a woman.
I've always loved this dress. I've kept it since my Mom gave it to me when I became a grownup. I've treasured it for ages, obviously.
My eldest granddaughter who is 19 y/o now, had worn it when she was a little girl.
It is time now to pass it over to my younger granddaughters.
I love to think that my beloved Mom's spirit is still with us, so alive with every stitch that she sewed with her blessed hands.

Yesterday I went consignment store shopping. I like those stores because you can find really unusual and nice things you don't see in regular retail shops. I had tried on some dresses in this one shop and nothing really tickled my fancy enough to buy, but 2 of the dresses were pink so the lovely lady who owned the shop noticed and asked if pink was my favorite color. I said it is yet I don't really have too many dresses in pink for some reason. She said to wait a minute and that someone had brought in some dresses the day before and one of them was a pink prom dress. She came back with this pink Tiffany prom dress so I tried it on and it fit me very nicely. There was no price tag on it and she said it had just come in and didn't price it yet. She looked up what the woman wanted for it which was too much in both of our opinions. She had the number of the woman who had brought it in for resale so she called her up and said she had someone interested in it and asked if she would consider less for it. She let me talk to the woman on the phone and she told me it was her daughters prom dress and was expensive new and in good condition. I tried to barter with her for less money but was pretty firm. After we hung up with her the woman from the store explained that people tend to ask to much for sentimental clothing pieces and usually she puts it out for the requested price but after it is out in the store for a week or two they agree to lower the price to sell it. So I gave the woman my information and she promised to call me if the consignee lowered the price at all which she was pretty sure would happen. It was a dream to try on and wear for a few minutes and I am hoping that the price does come down a little bit!
