I took so many good photos last year, categorised them into their respective folders on my oh so organised harddrive and... well... forgot all about them! So I want to dig then out over the new few posts. If memory serves me well, (and it seldom does, (sorry how old am I?)) this was in my front garden, daisies growing amongst the grass on the main lawn area. I noticed here on flickr that people like dreamy softened looking photos, so hopefully this will amongst them.

I hope everyone's week has been going well and so as always, thank you! :)

A full day of spectacular drift busting action on the Great Lakes Central couldn't possibly have ended any better as a pair of former Montana Rail Link SD35s "ride on a cloud" of powdery snow as the sun sets in rural mid-michigan.

How I wish we had some snow...the climate change seems to have affected us as well. No snow in the middle of winter. Had to go back to my archives. Weather forecast predicts snow for next week. Hope the forecast is right. Hope you'll enjoy. Thanks vor visiting ~ very much appreciated.

on the 31st of May I did the second landscape hike by climbing ca 800 meters to Munken (www.68north.com/outdoors/hiking-munken/), crossing again incredible scenery, resulting in this view. It is only a part, and there will be more, not only of the view around, but also of the way up and down. It sure equals the hike to Matmora (f.i. www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/41788415030/in/datepo...).

So to everyone who is planning to do Lofoten, don't only do the classics like Reine etc, but if the weather is good, go up. The rewards are incredible!

The Munken hike is BTW on the south Island near Sørvågen.

At home it is raining and I am sitting next to the oven. 9°C today, what a summer mid of August. The nice thing as a photographer is the ability to capture beautiful moments in life and adapt them to what the feeling needs. This result is exactly my dreamscape I need in this moment...makes me feel good...

Sunset, Natural Bridges State Beach, Santa Cruz California. There is something to be said about the holidays and sunsets at this beach. Just like last year at the same time, the sky opened up as the sun passed just beyond the horizon, and the show lasted for what felt like hours. Happy Holidays!

Seventy years ago, a second generation bookseller embarked on a quiet adventure. Mick, as he was known, began to quietly transform the bush land behind his house into an English country garden. Swain then terraced, sculpted and planted his patch into a dreamscape. The secret was out when Swain bequeathed his down-low domain to The National Trust in 1972. Later, the gardens were deeded to who continue to maintain them. 36308

I can no longer thank everyone due to my fibromyalgia. Please accept my thank you here!!!

I found some shelter from the wind and waited for the clouds to clear. This was as clear as it got and it was right before sunrise, which is why the sky is so blue. This was a very difficult edit with the light extremes, but I had fun with it.
