1978 Fokker DR1 Triplane (Replica) c/n 20936, N152RB, Vintage Aero Flying Museum, Platte Valley Airport, Ft. Lupton, CO.
Duxford Airshow
The Fokker DR1 Triplane appeared in 1917. It was a copy of the Sopwith Triplane. The DR1 was not particularly fast but it had an excellent rate of climb. It was also very manoeuvrable making it the choice of many aces, the best known being Manfred von Richtofen with his blood-red triplane.
