Il treno per trasporto di merci diffuse di DB Schenker diretto ad Anagni sgancia sempre una porzione di carri a Reggio Emilia, che poi vengono inoltrati ad opera di Dinazzano-Po all'interporto di Dinazzano. Qui è ripreso il ritorno verso Reggio di questo treno, con in composizione anche tre carri d'argilla che invece proseguono su Limburg via Domo con un'altro treno dedicato, sempre ad opera di Nordcargo/DBS.

La G2000.20 di "Dinazzano - Po" ( la nuova impresa che raccoglie il settore merci ex FER ) traina una sorella e tre carri telonati DB Schenker verso l'interporto di Dinazzano, qui ripresa nell'assolata campagna presso Bosco (RE).

Treno inconsueto per la G2000.22, che si occupa di trasferire un bagagliaio FS da Reggio Emilia a Guastalla, presso l'officina di Italyrail. Il bagagliaio è quello che si trovava da tempo fermo nella stazione di S. Ruffillo, probabilmente in uso a RFI.

The engine G2000.22 is pulling an unusually mail wagon from Reggio Emilia to the Italyrail workshop in Guastalla. The old mail wagon was stored in Bologna S. Ruffillo from ages and probably used by maintenance service.
Passate le difficoltà del big snow, il traffico merci riprende. La E483 023 di DPO è in arrivo a Reggio Emilia con un TC carico di argilla proveniente da Ravenna, che proseguirà immediatamente per Dinazzano al gancio di una G2000.

After the difficulties of the "big snow", the traffic of freight trains started again.
The engine E483 023 of Dinazzano Po is coming in Reggio Emilia pulling a container train loaded of clay. It comes from Ravenna and it will be pulled to Dinazzano by a G2000 engine.
After some quality time in Poland, I hopped on a bus heading to (one of) the industrial capital(s) of Czechia, Ostrava.
The plan was - for the next few days - to get some half decent tram and train shots in the vicinity, mostly of the older types (ČKD till nosebleed).
This picture was taken about 20 seconds after arriving near my accomodation, so I guess they were expecting me :)
One of the T3s operated by DPO is making a right turn onto the busy Ruská street, with the old town hall of Vítkovice (which used to be a town on its own before being incorporated into Ostrava) in the background.

On the 27th of may I’d spend most of my day outside Ostrava. However I still needed to get something to eat. Luckily I knew a place to get something to eat late at night in the city. So after arrival at the station I dumped my stuff at the hotel and took only my camera and tripod with me. The next morning I’d be leaving Ostrava with the pendolino to Slovakia. So I wouldn’t have enough time to go anywhere in the morning, but still I’d have loads of time. So I decided I’d sleep late in the morning and spend some time making nighttime pictures in the city.One of the photo’s I took was of the city’s tram operator’s, DPO, Tatra KT8D5R tram numbered 1503.
L'anno scorso di 'sti tempi mi trovavo a Cadeo, in provincia di Piacenza, per beccare il passaggio dell' Arlecchino in viaggio commerciale tra Milano e Firenze quando nel frattempo mi è arrivato alle spalle questo TC carico di casse open top proveniente da Reggio Emilia e diretto a Piacenza trainato dall' E494.541 di Dinazzano Po, ramo merci della IF Tper, ripulita ahimè da alcune opere "bombolettesche" che deturpavano viso e fiancata
