This image is part of my "doors" project.

I`ve decided to concentrate on very common and simple everyday use things, doors. But I look for interesting doors.

Nice entry way. For "Thursday Doors Day". TDD/DDD

Doors are gates: openings to other worlds. No matter how they are: big, small, old or new, they always lead you to something new or something different.

When I was little this door was the gate to my father work, which felt like a new realm for me, every time I was going there. Now it's only an old door, closed and left alone. But no matter what's on the other side.. it will always reminds me of something special that was happening on the other side.

This is a wider shot of an earlier photo where I isolated the chair and table. Loving the shapes and the strength of the light throwing interesting shadows.

This lovely old door always appeals to me. We have visited Bargemon several times now, and each time I am fascinated by it! It is a thing of beauty in its own right, but, also, the question is always asked - "what is behind this door"?
