These are more from my door collection. Mostly these are Essex doors and knockers that I've encountered in my travels. There's nothing like a nice pair of doors.

This green wooden door is a mystery to me. It is secured by an enormous lock but no steps lead up to it. It appears to lead nowhere. It is surrounded by several different kinds of brick and stone from which the building's facing has been removed. The mortar looks new, which means the bricks have recently been pointed. Hmmmmmmm. It did however catch my eye.

Door and windows on an old abandoned house in El Reno, Oklahoma.

I've taken umpteen door photos over the years, many of them older and more decayed but this one somehow seemed imbued with the greatest sense of sadness. It feels like the door has been locked and the shutters closed after some family tragedy or breakup?

Taken with the Mk I Canon EOS M which has now been given to my daughter. The camera drove me mad in many respects (lack of viewfinder and no physical controls, so it was the polar opposite of my Fuji's) but this 22mm pancake lens is terrific.

When a door closes there is always another door waiting to be opened :)
