This is Shiloh. He's in training to be a Leader Dog for the blind. In case you didn't notice on first glance, he is ADORABLE.
I hate I'm so soft,weak.....
About 2 weeks ago someone dropped 6 or 7 puppies in the middle of nowhere near where we are logging right now. the nearest house is about 5 miles. I saw the puppies a couple times but of course they ran when a big loud log truck came by. then I didn't see them for a while. then I saw one by its self, for 2 days. I thought "I don't need any more dogs" "sure don't want a puppy" One day after "puppy day" it was raining and the puppy was still in the same spot. I drove past....Then stopped. Walked back in the rain
Said: Hey Puppy! .she came running.
I thought she was a lab mix at first. But now I'm pretty sure she is a Great Dane....Mix? and dang it we Love her already.
She is growing like a weed in just the first week we have had her. And she just now has meat covering her ribs.
So We named her . Mystery.

Stunning Lightning is available for adoption at Woods Humane Society in San Luis Obispo. I've taken some artistic license by using Topaz Adjust and Clarity for his portrait, but he really is this handsome. His eyes are awesome and his fur is soft and has a beautiful pattern. Plus he has a wonderful personality.....he was very loving and wanted to give us both kisses. He won't be there long!

久々登場のレオ君。実家で飼っている犬です。
こちらに向かって走ってくる犬にピントを合わせるのはやっぱり難しい。
これもピントは甘いけど、中でもましな方なのです。
いい表情なのにピントが合ってないとか、ピントはあっているのに変な顔とか・・・難しいです。

We have been taking care of my cousins dog this week while he has been away on a vacation. I am not much of a dog person but she is a really lovely puppy. Thought I would try to get a nice portrait of her as a gift. She was very tired here as she had fetched that ball for at least half an hour.
Please welcome my new assistant, Poppy! She has been keeping us very busy over the last few weeks although training has gone quite well. She has already grasped the theory of exposure and, on our first outing together on Saturday, it became apparent that patience waiting for the trains to arrive will take more time to develop!
