OK, I'm normally not exuberant over going to the DMV. But our minivan was due for an inspection, so I decided to get it over with since I'm done with work and it's a beautiful, cool morning (I have memories of sitting on LONG inspection lines on hot summer days, and figured I'd avoid that). So I packed up a magazine and a Sudoku book and headed out.
I left the house about 9:30. It's a 10 minute drive to DMV. I got there, and there was no line. None, at all - I was next in line and was called up right away! The inspection process is much more streamlined than I used to be, and the car got its new sticker in about five minutes. I was back home by 10:00!
I'm ridiculously giddy over this. I should buy a lottery ticket - LOL!
A tall, strong plant that easily outgrew its 8 foot pole, and bloomed up where I couldn't get to it. And yet it had some suspicious spots on its leaves. It tested positive for DMV/DCMV.
So I went to the DMV to have my yearly car inspection. Even though it was a Monday I still had to wait on line for a half-hour, slooowly inching toward the garage
… And then they have the nerve to print this on their decals!
P.S.: While I was snapping this photo, I was again sitting & idling the engine, waiting for my turn at the gas pump D'OH!!

Additionally, the group collected more than 260 signatures urging the Sacramento City Council to pass a resolution demanding the governor to drop the minimum wage order.
Shot of an "alternative" place to get your car registered. Located on Lambert Blvd. near Lascari's Deli in Whittier. Taken during the 2nd annual 'One Weekend in Whittier' photography event in 2017. I saw this place and had a good laugh and had to take this shot just for the fun of it. While here the owner came out and starting complaining and asking why I was taking pictures and I told him for a photo project and because I liked the bright colors and shapes, but of course he wasn't having it and ran me off.
