The Howling

Release Year: 1981

After a bizarre and near fatal encounter with a serial killer, a television newswoman is sent to a remote mountain resort whose residents may not be what they seem.

i made some tie dyed napkins.

blogged at jamie of all trades, see profile for link.

It has a foam head painted black and blue LED's inserted from the back leaving the foam undisturbed in the front. Black fabric was zip tied around the neck and just run straight down

then the cheese cloth was draped over the shoulders and trimmed coarsely at the bottom. For lighting used 2 clamp lights with UV CFL's 6ft away.

Test shots from the DIY Ring Light I did earlier.

The focus point was actually on my mustache, but you can see the affect.

It appears that the bottom is a little brighter than the top, but It's not unusable at this point.

I found it easier to sugar one side at a time. Here, I've sugared the front and placed the flowers face down. Then I just brushed the egg white on the back and sugared it the same way. (See front sugaring picture for how to tips.)

Milo's Kitchen Treat Truck

Chocolate spider cookies

Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of barely simmering water. Once melted, turn off the heat and leave the chocolate in the bowl to keep warm while you assemble the spiders.

Unroll some of the liquorice wheels and cut into 2-3cm lengths to use as the Chocolate spiders’ legs.

Splodge a small tsp of chocolate onto half of the cookies. Arrange eight liquorice legs on top, then sandwich with another cookie. Spread some more chocolate on top of the second cookie to cover, then put somewhere cool to set.

Use the icing pens to add eyes, by first blobbing two big dots of white icing on each, topped with two smaller dots of black icing.

About half way done. Plants used are Cyperus papyrus, and a tall grass dubbed Purple Fountain Grass. I'm using them in containers for right now in order to get the height we want to act as a way to cool off the room they are in front of. We used a simple shade clothe across the top, which helped cooling almost immediately. Got all the plants and shade clothe and pave stones at Home Depot for a some what reasonable price. All the rocks and pebbles I found through out the yard, but need more for finishing touches.
