UK : It is always nice to look again at our summer vacations photos and remember the good times! I can tell you that I can not wait to hit the road to a new destination and discover the unknown ...
It's been a while since I have Adobe Lightroom, but I never really work with this software. So I launched it to see how the it worked. Complex, but the results are beautiful and it is easy to transfer from Lightroom to Photoshop for finishing. In short, I still have much to learn!
Thanks, David Béland

For The Teleidoscope: Week #5: Enchanted Forest
SO MUCH work to get a reasonable result out of a picture with no real trees in it... I like the city a lot - but I wish there could be a forest right next to the house! Staring people ist something I still have to get used to. :D
up up and more up, maybe is possible.

BYES!
The lighting under the Discovery space shuttle almost made it seem like it was still glowing from reentry.

Things to See & Do
There are too many things to do in Toronto for a single visit. The Art Gallery of Ontario is Canada’s largest art gallery which is a must-visit for art aficionados.
For history buffs, the Royal Ontario Museum is a great place to delve into historic exhibits.
Walking in Toronto’s eclectic neighborhoods starting at Downtown, signing up for Discovery Walks, and exploring the green, park-filled areas of North York, Garrison Creek, Belt line and Humber River can be very pleasant.
Walking and biking trails abound in the Harbourfront and Lakefront districts of Downtown.
I had a day off today, so I got into the car with my camera and drove down 10 East. I had no idea where I was headed to until I spotted the exit, Orange. What I discovered was a peaceful little town filled with old school architectures and antique shops. LOVE! Took me a while to find out where I was - Redlands!
Discovered this tree full of baby figs on the morning walk. The tree is loaded with figs...The deer, birds and I will be watching closely.
An old image I just rediscovered. Mrs. B.K. from 15 years ago, on her Discover Scuba" dive. She was 55 at the time.

A few more photos on another mock ad campaign surrounding the idea of human curiosity.
Text says "Those who do not open doors do not discover"
The idea here is to give the viewer a little view at some crazy scene that peaks their curiosity causing them to want to open the door. The tagline "Remain Forever Curious" next to the logo suggests that we at Curiosity Advertising open those doors and discover new worlds. The style of these is meant to be more of a story book fairytale appealing to the child in us. Another fun little sublevel of these images is that when the objects in the nonsense scenes are mixed around you get three scenes that do make sense...just in case anyone is curious enough to notice that little detail
This isn't bad.
I feel like after my 365 ended my skills went away. I'm out of practice. I can't wait for summer to start a 100 days of summer project.
oh... hey flickr sharpening
There are times when a sense of remoteness or a disconnection wells up within, even when one is spending time surrounded by interesting and engaging people. If one give himself what is desired by mind, body and spirit. There is no match to that wonderful gift. It help you discover that being alone creates a sense of tranquility.
I remember one place that gives you the total bliss of mind with such wonderful views and voices of birds that it amaze one's mind the purity God has given us....
Welcome to the Meadows of Manna. The remote and out of world experience with the Jeep Safari and sometimes a hike because of Landslides would bring you to an oasis... And here you would only see what you have been dreaming. A place of perfect harmony and Peace...

Webb has discovered what appears to be a new record-holder for the most distant known galaxy — shattering its own previous record. This galaxy existed only 290 million years after the big bang.
The galaxy, JADES-GS-z14-0, is unusually bright given its distance. That luminosity seems to mostly come from young stars. The amount of starlight implies the galaxy is several hundreds of millions of times the mass of the Sun.
Data from Webb’s mid-infrared instrument also reveals the surprising presence of oxygen. Detected this early in the life of the galaxy, the oxygen suggests that multiple generations of very massive stars already lived and died before Webb’s observations.
For all of these reasons, this galaxy is very different from those predicted to exist in the early universe by models and simulations. Though this is science in progress, Webb’s discovery may have profound implications for what we know of our cosmic history: blogs.nasa.gov/webb/2024/05/30/nasas-james-webb-space-tel...

[Image description: A field of thousands of small galaxies of various shapes and colors on the black background of space. A bright foreground star with diffraction spikes is at lower left. Near the center, a tiny white box outlines a region and two diagonal lines lead to a larger box at the upper right, enlarging the view of this area. Within the box is a banana-shaped blob that is blueish-red in one half and distinctly red in the other half. An arrow points to the redder portion and is labeled “JADES GS z 14 0.”]
Spain. In Spain nature plays with shapes and colours, alternatively mixing, superimposing and opposing them – and better than the greatest artists.
Espagne. La nature en Espagne se joue des formes et des couleurs, les mélange, les superpose, les confronte – mieux que le plus grand des artistes.

Few weeks ago, I had been invited to a kid model photo shooting for a Chinese cloth brand. I took several candid shot especially during the preparation of the model... backstage. It was so funny to see this little boy playing with some make-up tools, having fun with something he was apparently discovering.
