The troops of the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the Civil Guard, the MILITARY EMERGENCY UNIT, FIREFIGHTERS of Seville and members of the EMERGENCY SERVICE, participated this Thursday in a great tactical exercise on the Guadalquivir river, in the section between the Isabel II Bridge and the Delicias Bridge, which has served to show citizens how the Armed Forces act in the rescue of a hostage, the boarding of two ships that had been taken by terrorists and the air attack made by two Eurofighters fighters to eliminate a threat on land, among other situations.

El Buque de Acción Marítima (BAM) es un tipo de buque modular, adaptado a distintos propósitos sobre una base común, que está siendo fabricado por Navantia para la Armada Española. En otras flotas podría ser equiparado a corbetas o fragatas de defensa costera.
Una de las características más importantes del diseño del BAM desde el momento de su concepción fue una plataforma común para misiones muy variadas, sobre la que poder desarrollar toda una familia de tipos de buque que respondan a las distintas necesidades de la Armada.
