This is the famous diamond beach at Jokulsarlon in South Iceland. Sadly we didn't have nearly enough time there to take photos so just managed to take a few shots before we had to move on again. Definitely want to go back there again!

The season is from mid of October to end of February.

オススメは10月下旬から11月上旬と、
1月下旬から2月中旬の北岸で見られる頃かな。
雪をかぶり、空気の澄むこれからの季節は、

Diamond Head is the name of a volcanic tuff cone on the Hawaiian island of Oahu and known to Hawaiians as Lēahi, most likely from lae browridge, promontory plus ʻahi 'tuna' because the shape of the ridgeline resembles the shape of a tuna's dorsal fin. Its English name was given by British sailors in the 19th century, who mistook calcite crystals embedded in the rock for diamonds.
