A Hackerspace or Makerspace oftentimes act as a co-op community workshop that operates so that members could have access to devices and workforce to finish their own personal project which would have been difficult by themselves because of either absence of tools, workforce, or know-how. Passing nearly directly overhead Founders' Plaza, there's a lot more grime and streaking on the underside compared to the near spotless top and sides......
I so need better weather to photograph the morning Korean Air arrival. Usually the flight from Seoul-Inchon lands on 13R and on occasion will arrive on 18R, particularly on days with bad weather or low visibility. This particular 777-200ER, tail number HL7598, was built and delivered to Korean Air in August 2001.
Took some plane spotting photos during a party boat outing on Lake Grapevine.. Never worked out just right with the storm clouds but oh well.. fun spot.
Bit of a hairy landing for this NWA Airlink CRJ-900 (N922XJ is flown by Mesaba for Northwest) as it lands on one main. Landings like this weren't all that unusual this particular day. At one point the wind got so bad that flights were electing to hold in hopes of the wind dissipating. It wasn't unusual to see 15+ aircraft all in line waiting to take off on 31L.
