Two hour, ten minute flight at 5:00pm.
It seems that in first class they could toss you a sandwich or something?
It's not often that there will be four Airbus jets in hold pad at DFW. With a Frontier A319 and Mexicana A318 at WH (Whiskey Hotel), this United A319 and US Airways A320 take their positions at WF (Whiskey Foxtrot).
N638RW flies for Shuttle America under the United Express banner. I was surprised at the number of ERJ-170 flights we get at DFW- there was a time when the first ERJ-170 service got a lot of attention from the local spotting community. That was when Founders' Plaza was still located on the SE side of DFW.
Bid adeiu to he with the brass testiculos as they roll down a rainy 18R to get up above the muck into sunny skies.
At this point there were two lightning strikes to my north in close succession not far away. At that point I cashed my chips in, pulled out my Golden Pussy card, hauled ass for the car and headed for home.

Later that week, instead of thunderstorms, I get stuck with thick fog and 300' ceilings. You gotta be kidding me. But hey, I did finally get a shot of one of Martinaire's Cessna 208Bs heading out, to Brownwood, I think. They run up and around between here and San Antonio on cargo runs and usually in better weather they're long gone by the time I get to Founders' Plaza.
