A few days ago, we were finally allowed out in the big wide world again, so we celebrated with a fish and chip lunch in the car by the seaside down in Port MacDonnell. Lots of gulls (and a few gannets) joined us as we watched the approaching storm. After many months at home, we now have a sudden real appreciation of such a simple outing!
A lovely day out in the Elan Valley today with some perfect conditions this morning more cloud in the A/noon
Took my photography students to the coast at Breskens today. We were very fortunate with the lovely weather and it was great to see the enthousiast students creating great images.
All and all, a beautiful day out.
Had a fab day out with Jennifer White today. Way back when I began to post pics and was deciding my style, Jen was one of the stunning girls who strongly influenced me. Unfortunately we lost touch for several years. Recently I was delighted to hear from her again and thrilled that she could visit me in Edinburgh.
As you see, it was a horribly wet day so we mostly kept indoors. A cafe, a gallery and several shops gave us shelter and lots of time to chat. Jen is fascinating to know and more lovely in reality than in her photos. Thank you, Jen, for travelling to meet me and I'm sorry about the rain. It will be better next time.
Tina (from Germany) was visiting and we started our day at the garden.

Took our cat for a ride (yes he enjoys rides in the car) and took this picture of his reflection in the side view mirror. He was looking toward the sunset at a local beach.
l took my two Grandsons out to the Zoo Yesterday. The three of us had a lovely day out. The Zoo is called Hamerton Zoo Park and is a 30 minute drive from my house. lt is a real family orientated place. Cameron and little Mason wanted to go around again :-)
A day out at the Bowl in Cheltenham. Unfortuneately, Debbie and her two do not like having photos taken, so I snatch at them, and they are no good! This is Thea - she's 5, but Dad was helping, and she got a great score!
Aonach Beag's north face holds one of Scotland's longest lying snow-patches (grid reference NN196718), which sits at the bottom of the climb known as 'Queen's View' at an altitude of about 950m. This patch has been known to last through to the first lasting snows of the new winter.
This snow patch was present continuously from late 2006 to late November 2011
What does every good Canadian T girl do on a dull day?
She goes to the Bank and gets some money $$$ to go shopping with. That's what she does!... *lol**
Heck if it's going to rain what else should I do?
So off I went on a spending spree.
Anyhoo girls the day started out quite dull but the Sun came out of hiding after an hour or so and it got warmer which made it more user friendly for taking Vids and photos without a coat so I could show this nice form fitting dress off and as we all know Photos are what keeps us girls coming back for more are they not?
The dilemma: we girls feel prettier in dresses and skirts, yet there is no doubt that makes us stand out in a country where almost all females wear trousers except for special occasions.
Fortunately trousers can be casual and pretty at once, if well chosen. These new deep purple skinny jeans match my deep purple ankle boots and tone with my light lilac top. This is a completely feminine outfit though not dressy and so perfect for a day out shopping.
The aim is to blend in and I would say these jeans blended in prettily with everyone else.
