Family day out on the Norfolk Broads. Thought it was quite funny how they were following the main Goose they all looked dignified with there heads raised.

Don’t be startled to see a pigs rummaging through a garbage bin on Rundle Mall in Adelaide's urban centre. It's Oliver, one of four pige commissioned by The Adelaide City Council and created by Marguerite Derricourt to add a touch of serendipity to a day out shopping in this beautiful city.

Another shot of Diggle enjoying his day out at Petersfield Lake. He drank a lot of water this day as it was quite warm & I had done a lot of running around with him, as his dad used to do. The message on the guy's bag made me smile, it says, ' You take the biscuit.'

The end of a cold day out in the Yorkshire Dales and what a sight well after the sun went down.

This was certainly not a planned shot!! I had spent the morning over on the Southerscales plateau beneath Ingleborough before joining up with fellow Flickr pal John Bleakley in Arncliffe. We had planned to try a sunset shot from up above the village on Brayshaw Scar looking up the Cowside Valley.

The sunset turned out to be rather unremarkable and we packed up and made our way back down to the cars. As we arrived back in Arncliffe Village the sky suddenly started to go on fire.

I said goodbye to JB then set off up the narrow lane up Cowside heading back home over the Moors past Malham Tarn. On the way up Cowside I spotted this scene and stopped quickly to catch the fabulous sky. The only pull in on the narrow lane was here just before the Barn, so I had to clone my car out of the shot in post processing.

It was another case of the afterglow turning out to be far better than the actual sunset!

Walking a route around Llyn Idwal. Tryfan on the right with Llyn Ogwen in the background. Fierce winds but ever changing light!

Really enjoyable trip out to Snowdonia for sunrise this morning. Well worth getting up at 4am! Big thanks to Ade for doing all the driving!

Went to Llandudno for a day out. Our first proper jolly since lockdown began.

Bagged this nice little shot with my Samsung S10 plus during a walk along the prom. Processed in Google Photos using their basis editing tools and then a little bit of top and bottoming with Picasa on the PC.

The name Big Ben is often used to describe the tower, the clock and the bell but the name was first given to the Great Bell.

The Elizabeth Tower, which stands at the north end of the Houses of Parliament, was completed in 1859 and the Great Clock started on 31 May, with the Great Bell's strikes heard for the first time on 11 July and the quarter bells first chimed on 7 September.

Any sunny day is a good day out, but even better when you can slip the roof off, then climb down into the low and sleek Ferrari 308 GTS and cruise to the southern coast of Victoria.

The setting here for this forced perspective shot is the riverside carpark at Nelson, a lovely sleepy and unspoilt town on Victoria's far south west coast, just a few kilometres from the South Australian state border. Local council have been spending a little money lately too with a nice new bitumen carpark here and also a good number of those new blue park-bench type seats scattered all round the town. Just out of shot to the left, a couple of small river cruise boats operate regular trips up and down the Glenelg River. To the right, the river goes round a kilometre or so before emerging into the beautiful sandy coastline. It is a great little spot for bird watching too. As well as all the usual coastal birds, I have seen much less common birds here like the rufous bristlebird and the azure kingfisher. Enticing enough to keep me coming back over and over again.

Charlie Enjoying a Day Out in Golden Hill Country Park.

Surrounding a former Victorian fort (now private homes) Golden Hill Country Park has some stunning views across the West Wight and the Solent. A network of paths offers a range of walks through the grassland and woodland which also provide some great spaces for wild-play. Golden Hill is the largest Gift to Nature site, extending to over 20 hectares.

Yesterday morning I was up early getting ready to go pick up Ashley for a day out of shooting. When I started driving I noticed the clouds were so low in the sky. It felt like driving down a corridor where clouds replaced the ceiling. As I approached the canyon that I had to drive through to get to her, the fog became so thick I could barely see the car in front of me. I pulled off the road at the first chance I got, threw on my dress, set up my tripod and camera, and did what I felt in my heart was right to do. I didn't have an idea planned, but instantly I knew what would make me feel most fulfilled.

Shooting lasted 5 minutes and by the time I was finished I was soaked in mud - the bottom of the dress, my sneakers, the jumper I wore underneath. I felt bad because she was going to use that dress later in the day. When I arrived to pick her up I was warmly greeted with new shoes and a dryer to put the dress in, and all was well...or...all was *right*. Everything was in it's right place.

Great day out, Fountains Abbey

The tide's out and the marshes, clicking and whispering as the water recedes, stretch to the village of Bosham.

Viewed from the public footpath that runs along the low sea embankment; at high tide the sea floods up to it, completely covering the shoreside road.

And the heatwave threatening to finally break as thunderclouds begin to build over the Sussex Downs. (Although apart from a few distant rumbles not a lot happened but it had rained back at Langstone where those clouds are heading.)

I did the same walk two days later at high tide, but sadly the weather was grey and flat and few photographs were taken.
