The local police followed the men and saw them pull into the Owl Motel, the one with the huge neon "WHO" that has become a landmark of sorts.
On a rainy day in the Mojave Desert, BNSF 3868 leads a westbound stack train out of Needles, California. Needles is a crew change point along BNSF’s Southern Transcon and is one of the busiest terminals in the entire network.

I Want to Start out the Day in the Mountains...
feeling a cool breeze across my face
with the sun shining and shadows cast
with the rustle of leaves from each passing breeze
with a symphony of birds waking in their roost
I want to start out the day and then journey forth.
Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured this late morning around the Vivian Park with the peaks and ridges of Timpanogos off in the distance. While there was a bright afternoon sunlight that day, I was able find a good enough exposure in Manual mode to bring out the much of the colors present across the mountainside.
Vessel is a structure and visitor attraction built as part of Hudson Yards in Manhattan, New York City, New York. Built to plans by the British designer Thomas Heatherwick, the elaborate honeycomb-like structure rises 150 feet and consists of 154 flights of stairs. Opened to the public on March 15, 2019.

Most of the world have their Mothers Day in May, for us here in the UK it's today - 31st March. My two boys have grown, moved away and have families of their own. My new 'baby' is Marnie, who also has many children who have moved far away from her- about 18 of them ! Now she's 'retired' from mothering and is enjoying the free life with us. Out to Sutton Park this morning and it was glorious !!!
Hope you all have had a lovely day, whether you celebrate Mothers Day or not... many like me lost their mothers many years ago - but we'll never forget them.
