DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDX THIS TOO LONGER THAN I WANTED. HOLY FREAKING CRAP. (Prolly around 6-7 hours and over 40 layers .___.)

Uh... yeah...

So I've been listening to a lot of Daft Punk. Is it obvious? XD

I love the live version of "Television Rules the Nation" and this idea for a pic popped into my head during school today. So I thought 'Hey, why not?'

The only think frankensteined is the girl's arm and face as well as some bits of hair and random maxis/real life objects and logos. And all logos, brushes, textures and pics are copyrighted to their respective owners. :D

Ah haha, I'm using this to make a birthday card. XD

Non-stop energy!

You must see them live!

Daft Punk performing live at Tim Festival 2006, São Paulo.

My desk at work. I was listening to Daft Punk Alive 2007 and thought I'd modify a wallpaper I found to span all 4 of my monitors. The original wallpaper can be found here: static.simpledesktops.com/desktops/2011/08/13/daftPunk.png

Helmet on, trigger the beauty dish one side. Helmet off, trigger the beauty dish the other side. DIY beauty dish and old Jessops flashgun with remote trigger.

New Horizons.

These are from a little side project I devised to keep a more important project in check.

I'm pretty suggestible to certain types of synthwavey, retro aesthetic bullshit, but I don't want my scifi film Yvette Horizon going too far that way, so I concocted this 'Blacktron Legacy' series to keep that stuff off the grid.

Daft Punk cosplay. Taken at Anime Central '11.

The picture describes itself

I just like sleeping people, it's humanity being publicly vulnerable, dropping their masks for once.

Add. info: Both flashes were bare bulb and set to 1/32 power.

It is titled "6083 Tron Derezzed Tournament". This MOC was displayed at BrickCon 2018 in Seattle.

Derezzed was a single off of Daft Punk's soundtrack for Tron Legacy. They released a video with Daft Punk entering Flynn's Arcade and playing a game called DEREZZED instead of TRON. In the video, the light cycles turn into horses and the competitors begin a jousting tournament.

For the jousting scene I lifted directly from one of my earliest LEGO memories. My brother or I had set 6083, Knight's Tournament, which was the origin of the "horse's ears" method of putting a plate between two studs. I rebuilt that set with TRON colors: bright pink and medium azure.

Really this is three separate builds. In the future I might expand and join them together. The jousting scene could benefit from a soft hammer since the two layers of plates and layer of tiles bows significantly. I didn't know that trick at the time. The arcade needs more of the building walls and the upstairs office. I haven't thought of a good way to make it seem the game is coming from their machine.

What other possible improvements do you see?

I wrote a bit about the MOC on my webpage here, ba-kground.com/derezzed-tron-legacy-lego-reimagined/

Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,

Trash it, change it, mail - upgrade it,

Charge it, point it, zoom it, press it,

Snap it, work it, quick - erase it,

Write it, cut it, paste it, save it,

Load it, check it, quick - rewrite it,

Plug it, play it, burn it, rip it,

Drag and drop it, zip - unzip it,

Lock it, fill it, call it, find it,

View it, code it, jam - unlock it,

Surf it, scroll it, pause it, click it,

Cross it, crack it, switch - update it,

Name it, rate it, tune it, print it,

Scan it, send it, fax - rename it,

Touch it, bring it, pay it, watch it,

Turn it, leave it, start - format it.
