I've been a fan of the Daft Punk since the Da Funk hit the MTV. There's been a vision in my head about photographing them someday in my studio. In recent years I've been thinking about it more and more. A few days ago, I finally heard the doorbell ringing and Thomas Bangalter entered in to my home, in a small collectors box with extra hands as a bonus! :D

Finally finished my Daft Punk Helmets... it has taken soooo long for em to finish them (and only two colors per helmet... show you a lot about my motivation)...
Anyways, I'm excited these are done! I've loved Daft Punk's music ever since Random Access Memories Released, and I'm happy to recreate them in Lego form to show that. I'll likely use Thomas and Guy-Man in some other shoots, so stay tuned.

A few days ago, in a galaxy closer to home, my nephew turned 11. He loves Lego, is just getting into DJing and loves Daft Punk. So I made him this little MOC for his birthday (complete with a flash drive slotted in at the back with around 2000 of my favourite house and techno records). Time for some proper Homework! B)

Over the past two years my now 5 year old Star Wars obsessed son and I have been building LEGO spaceships shaped like letters of the alphabet. We finished A to Z and now are working on some punctuation before we move on to numbers. These two ships, the period and comma, are inspired by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk.

Captured in India during our cousin's Bharat, which was a 2 hour long dance procession with about 200 hundred people leading to the hall for his wedding ceremony. The Bharat may be my single most amazing party experience.
It's blaring music, lights and a massive crowd dancing through cows, heavy traffic and fireworks. Best way to describe it is to imaging taking a major night club, and move it down a street in the middle of India for 2 hours.
Another Daft photo from me. Had an exhausting day, so I guess you could say I'm Punk'd out!
