Cyclone Phet started hitting Muscat on June 4th, 04:00 AM, after about 12 hours of heavy rains, the main street (Sultan Qaboos Highway) was blocked!
Very sad to see this is happening in the beautiful city of Muscat.

We celebrated Miguel's birthday by taking in the cross harbor rivalry. Despite two fierce rain storms, the game made it through nine. Most folks left after the third inning when a torrential rain came down. Those that stayed were treated to prime real estate behind home plate.
Mooloolaba Visit. The last week of 2007 saw the southern Queensland coast lashed by winds generated by a cyclonic depression off the coast. This caused huge seas and erosion of many beaches.
Cyclone Larry a Category 5 Cyclone hit the North Queensland, Australia Coast just after 7 am on 20 March 2006. This is the strongest recorded cyclone to hit a populated area in Qld since 1918.
