I finally had the opportunity to build a LDD design I did almost 3 years ago, when I got out of my dark age.
Thought this was an apt image for the current conditions in SEQ with a Cyclone bearing down on us.
Don't try this at home...
enjoy..

This is cyclone Debbie that hit Australia last week. An intimidating sight. My thoughts go out to those who were affected.
Le cyclone Debbie qui a frappé l’Australie la semaine dernière : même bien loin sous la Station, il a l’air inquiétant… Pensées à tous ceux qui ont été touchés.

Cyclone michaung deprived us of power supply for two days and rain water logging with sewage thrown us out of normal life.
This is the first time we faced two days power cut.
After some protests and dharna organized by our streeters Corporation men worked for free flow of water and everything fine now.
Our local DMK cadre Mr.Chinnarasu and his brother helped to clear the water logging which paved the way to restore power supply.
This Copernicus Sentinel-3 image captured just yesterday on 1 May 2019 shows Cyclone Fani. Brewed in the Bay of Bengal and heading westwards, the cyclone is expected to make landfall on India’s east coast on Friday 3 May.
With wind speeds of up to 200 km per hour, heavy rainfall and flooding have been forecast along the Odisha coast, and has led to the evacuation of around 800 000 people from the nearby low-lying areas.
In the image, the width of the storm is estimated to be around 700-800 km. Once Cyclone Fani makes landfall, it is expected to move north-east, hitting Bangladesh and Bhutan on Saturday 4 May.

Dhanushkodi has the only land border between India and Sri Lanka which is one of the smallest in the world-just 45 meters in length on a shoal in Palk Strait. Before the 1964 cyclone, Dhanushkodi was a flourishing tourist and pilgrimage town. Since Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) is just 19 miles (31 km) away, there were many ferry services between Dhanushkodi and Talaimannar of Ceylon, transporting travellers and goods across the sea. There were hotels, textile shops and dharmashalas catering to these pilgrims and travellers. The railway line to Dhanushkodi—which did not touch Rameswaram then and was destroyed in the 1964 cyclone—went directly from Mandapam to Dhanushkodi. Dhanushkodi in those days had a railway station, a small railway hospital, primary schools, a post office, customs and port offices, and other buildings.
The Cyclone class is designed to combine the best features of the Enterprise and Archer class warships.
The ship carries nine 16 inch cannons, two 9 inch guns, with the same complement of 5 inch and AA guns as the Enterprise class.
It boasts stronger armor then the its predecessor and is powered by a considerably more powerful engine to keep that trademark Avratic speed.
Possibly first cyclone of season
