I will choose 12 girls out of this.
Here is where I wish I had picked up the Cleo and Deuce set. Gosh-darn, I forgot to edit the joints. ><
Since my 1st try wasn't exctly what I had to do, I edited to picture again, startng with that one: www.flickr.com/photos/carolparvatilara2/5199153112/ (read the notes of all the next pictures)
inspiration for that 2nd picture: fire and abstract brushes.
I searched for some fire tutorials for photoshop, but how I'm NOT good with tutorials, I coudn't follow it very well, only a few things, so I had to find my own way do use fire.
I also searched for abstract brushes and some new patterns (my photoshop didn't open any of the new patters....)
also, I found by a chance some different fonts in a weird website, I tried some of them and I fell in love with that one I'm using in the picture above, and now this will be my new signature
Gabriella's fantasy is: Multicolored Photoshop Brushes
programmes used: Photoshop CS4* and CS5, picnik.com and taaz.com* (*since the plain and original picture)
Congratz to Odskdos who won the slogan challenge :) :
"The look that holds a tune"
Yes, I decided to start auditions early because I was too excited !!! So yes, auditions will be opened during around a month (more infos saturday)
Hoepfully, BNMTM will keep his success for his thrid cycle, but that only belongs to YOU ! ;)
xx
Sabina's poison? To look her best at all times for any occasion. That's why she's got a HUGE collection of cosmetics...and a shoe collection to match. Her friends say that she can practically open up her own boutique with all the products that she owns. I'm beginning to wonder how this girl got the nicname "Rock Chick." ;)
Brittany: “Hi, guys! So I think it's no secret that I've applied to Top Model by Grace all three times they've held auditions. Anyways, being the Top Model junkie that I am, I decided to do videos each week commenting on the photo shoots, the girls, and just the episodes in general. I’ve also got a good friend to do it all with me! Say hi, Ferris.”
Ferris: “Hi, Ferris.”
Brittany: “He’s so silly. Anyways, we’ll go in alphabetical order. First girl is…Aleksandra. Thoughts?”
Ferris: “She’s an interesting one, that’s for sure. Love her height. I think she can only do a certain type of modeling though so I don’t see her winning.”
Brittany: “She’s an awesome take on the whole California beach girl. Way different than the girls I see at the beaches around here. Sure, she’s got a little too much peroxide in the hair but Grace really does an awesome job of casting oddly-beautiful girls. Ok, next is Analeigh.”
Ferris: “Isn’t she some socialite in L.A.? Why is she on the show?”
Brittany: “Who knows? What do you think about her hair?”
Ferris: “Very attention-seeking. I didn’t think she was all that pretty before and now she’s trying to hide behind that lion mane.”
Brittany: “Ouch! Harsh words, sir.”
Ferris: “I tell it like it is, ma’am. I like Bianca though. She looks like she’s got a lot of spunk and is unafraid to take risks.”
Brittany: “Ok, your taste level is questionable. I don’t think this girl is a model at all. I see her being an early out. Like…even I would have fit in with the Cycle 3 girls better.”
Ferris: “You’re just bitter!”
Brittany: “Am not! I honestly don’t think she can win or even get past top fourteen! Let’s move on. Your thoughts on Brie?”
Ferris: “I like her. She looks like she should be a big time model already. Sort of makes you wonder why she tried out for the show though.”
Brittany: “I heard she’s dating that hot teen model, Rom? Or was. I can’t remember. I think she’s going to be a tough one to beat though. Top three if not the winner of this cycle.”
Ferris: “Who’s next?”
Brittany: “Viewer’s choice winner Christie. I like her. She’s one of the older girls but I’m really glad she made it out of all the girls they had picked for the ‘wild card’ option this cycle.”
Ferris: “Eh. I think she’s nice but not winner material. I mean, c’mon, they put her as a viewer’s choice option. You think they’ll let her win?”
Brittany: “Ohmygosh, you’re just so mean today! I have faith Christie will be one of those girls you’re going to see consistently do better.”
Ferris: “Yeah, and then she’ll get eliminated for a reason they’ve been hiding behind their sleeves all along. It’s reality tv, baby.”
Brittany: “Moving on…we have Filon.”
Ferris: “Another L.A. socialite. These girls have to have paid their way in or something.”
Brittany: “No! I love Filon’s look. I read somewhere she’s half-Polish and half-Korean. I heard she’s a total bitch though and you know how mean girls never win?”
Ferris: “Amen. Who’s the girl who looks like a more plain, shaved head version of Filon?”
Brittany: “MEAN. That’s Fenia. I love her for being bold enough to have her hair like that! I hope she makes it far. She looks like she could be a fun one to watch. Next we have…Joy!”
Ferris: “Oh, joy.”
Brittany: “Shut up.”
Ferris: “She’s got a baby face. Looks too young in my opinion.”
Brittany: “Who do you actually like in this cast other than Bianca? Geez.”
Ferris: “Hey, I like Brie too. I also like the next girl – Marisol.”
Brittany: “Other than Bianca, you really like those plain Jane looking kind of models, eh?”
Ferris: “Marisol looks like she can walk any runway! Look at them legs! I’d love me some of that.”
Brittany: “Oh, ew. Didn’t need that. I like her but I feel like she’s a filler. She’s 23…it’ll be harder for her to break in than girls like Joy. Hold up, I think we left out a few girls! I swear I had them in alphabetical order before we filmed this.”
Ferris: “Ooh, this girl. Georgie. I like her. Really stands out from everyone else. How did you leave out this girl? Not cool Brit.”
Brittany: “Gosh, sorry! I like her, too. I think her name is actually Georgiana, but that sooo doesn’t fit her. What’s really cool is that you can tell she has this skater girl, tomboy personality but she looks sooo polished and everything.”
Ferris: “Who’s this mousy blonde with the freckles?”
Brittany: “This is Linae. I think she’s pretty but I don’t think she’ll get too far. She looks so lost in this photo.”
Ferris: “I don’t like her bangs. She’s got some cute freckles though. She kind of looks a bit like Brie but not so much of a model factor to her?”
Brittany: “Mm, I see where you’re coming from. Ok, next we have Liv. I really don’t like this girl. It’s like Bianca – why is she here in a modeling competition?”
Ferris: “Well, I like her. She’s got this bad-ass attitude coming all over.”
Brittany: “In her general info, it says she’s a band manager. Ok, I see that. She’s only 5’7” though. I don’t get why girls who are 5’7” always try to be the next Kate Moss.”
Ferris: “You hate her but watch this girl beat out all those skinny bitches you like, haha!”
Brittany: “Did someone spike your water today?”
Ferris: “Possibly. Maybe it was you.”
Brittany: “Moving on…next is Rhi. Full name Rhiannon. She’s sooo Earthy-hippie.”
Ferris: “Yeah, but look at all that fierceness in the face. I think she might be the winner.”
Brittany: “Maybe. She’s the tallest at 5’11.5”.”
Ferris: “Cool. I’m placing my money on her.”
Brittany: “I’m holding you to that. Next up is Seanna. She’s a spicy looking one. It looks to me Grace always casts one Asian girl in each cycle.”
Ferris: “She’s got such a party-girl vibe to her. I think she’d be a cool person to hang around. Might be one of those girls who overdo it on photoshoots though.”
Brittany: “You think so?”
Ferris: “Eh, just guessing. How many girls left, I’m starving!”
Brittany: “We just ate an hour ago! After Seanna is Sinead. Look at that hair! Jealous.”
Ferris: “She kind of has that permanent bitch face. A more fierce version of you, Brit!”
Brittany: “Hey!!! Ok, I can kind of see why I didn’t make it in if she did. But why are Brie and Linae both in though?” *pouts*
Ferris: “Aw, don’t do that. Final girl. Almost done.”
Brittany: “Okay, fine. The sixteenth girl in Cycle 3 is Tat-jana.”
Ferris: “I think it’s pronounced ‘Tat-ti-an-a’. I like this girl too. Has some really strong features to her face. She might be one of the house bitches though.”
Brittany: “Ok, I agree with you on all points there. That means not the winner. I love the shoes she’s wearing in this pic though. All in all, this is a really strong cast of girls. Who do you think will be the winner?”
Ferris: “I still say Rhi. Watch her take it all and you’ll owe me twenty bucks!”
Brittany: “No way! I think Marisol can totally outdo your pick in this competition.”
Ferris: “Oh? Didn't you not like her?”
Brittany: “Did I? Did I really say that, Ferris? *blows raspberry* Ok, I’m hungry too. Let’s eat. Thanks everyone for watching! I’ll continue doing these videos when the episodes air. You might see Ferris, you might not. Bye now!”
With a brand new season of fierce awakening on the rise, it only seemed fitting to have a FIERCE brand new host! again!

I was cleaning out my pencil sharpener and WOAH. Let's just say a month's worth of shavings was stored there. Although I feel rather stupid as I forgot there are graphite particles as well. During the photoshoot, some of it got on her legs and it's a total nightmare to get off. Heck, I'm still trying to clean off her legs. Hope it pays off though.

Finally finished up the long awaited fade out! XP
Had started it on it months ago, but just now managed to clean up some tweaks that it had. I quite like the set up, this time around. Much better than the last two cycles.
So now for some updates:
1. I am currently working on the Official Intro for this cycle. I hope to have it posted on here AND on YouTube by next Saturday (unless some issues arise that prevent me from doing so).
2. I hope to have the first episode up by mid January, at most. Unlike the last two cycles, Cycle 3 wont have recurring episodes every week. Since I start my Spring Semester of Uni. early in January, I wont have a whole lot of free time set up the video episodes or edit the photos like I want. A lot of that takes time, for which I will have sparsely from January to May.
Now, this leads me to another issue I've been pondering over: Should I continue the tradition of the last two cycles and make video episodes for this season? I quite like doing so, but it is time consuming and all. Plus, I don't really know how many of you actually watch each episode and only casually look out for the photo shoot to be posted on here. What are your thoughts on this?
3. Still editing (and in some cases, re-shooting) the first photo-shoot :S Tedious work, but must be done since some of the models came out a bit out of focus in their shots.
4. The 7th photo-shoot is my most favorite, in addition to the hardest, of all the photo shoots. I have had to re-shoot that damn session so many times that I should probably be sick of it right now. Still, I LOVE the concept, and I think many of you will like it as well, since it comes straight from ANTM :)
Besides the points posted above ^^^^ Cycle 3 is coming along rather nicely. I've closed the voting polls for the International Destination, and the final tallied decision was unanimous. I'm really having fun narrowing down photo shoot ideas that are relative to the winning destination.
