A trip with friends up to Cutter Ranch near Clinton, BC to meet our young lambs before they are slaughtered in a couple months. We then stayed the weekend at Loon Lake for some relaxing, cooking, and of course eating!

A leaf cutter bee on a passion fruit vine (passiflora) leaf. She worked very quickly and only took a few seconds to chew out the piece, then fly away with it.
I haven't identified this beyond doubt, but there are holes in the hazel leaves and no other visible cause, so it's probably a leaf-cutter bee.
