Coast Guard surface asset crews intercept unsafe, overloaded vessels and rescue the people aboard them in the Windward Passage, May 9-27, 2022. The rescue crews arrived on scene, gave out lifejackets for safety, and transferred the people from the unsafe vessel to a Coast Guard cutter. Once aboard a Coast Guard cutter, all people receive basic medical attention, fresh attire, food, and water. Their condition is evaluated with the assistance of a Creole interpreter. Coast Guard crew members conduct background checks on each person for the crew’s safety. Each person’s personal property is itemized and stored separately while onboard the cutter and returned when they depart the cutter. The Coast Guard ensures the safe return of the people to Haiti with the assistance of the Haitian Coast Guard. Irregular maritime migration is always dangerous and often deadly because of the inherent risks of the sea. People attempting this voyage will be intercepted and subject to repatriation to their country of origin. Do not take to the sea. Ice-Cutter is a one-off model I designed taking inspiration from the Ice-Planet Lego theme. He is not a part of my Henchman gang, as he doesn't really fit in there.
His design borrows elements from Hazard, Mortar, and Lava.
He uses Trans-Neon Orange wheels that were exclusively released as part of individual 4 packs that mirrored the Bionicle mask packs that would follow. I also learned that there were Gold and Silver prints of the talisman wheels that I will likely never own in my lifetime lol.
Lego intends to phase out the Trans-Neon Orange color soon despite it being tied to their identity.

This photo is part of the Australian National Maritime Museum’s William J Hall collection. The Hall collection provides an important pictorial record of recreational boating in Sydney Harbour, from the 1890s to the 1930s – from large racing and cruising yachts, to the many and varied skiffs jostling on the harbour, to the new phenomenon of motor boating in the early twentieth century. The collection also includes studio portraits and images of the many spectators and crowds who followed the sailing races.
