The Renault 4, also known as the 4L (pronounced "Quatrelle"), is a hatchback economy car produced by the French automaker Renault between 1961 and 1994. It was the first front-wheel drive family car produced by Renault.

The car was launched at a time when several decades of economic stagnation were giving way to growing prosperity and surging car ownership in France. The first million cars were produced by 1 February 1966, less than four and a half years after launch; eventually over eight million were built, making the Renault 4 a commercial success because of the timing of its introduction and the merits of its design. Although originally marketed as a small estate car, it is now regarded as the first mass production hatchback car.

Looking back on the year ...

January 2024 looks rather unproductive but I was also trying to sort & destash sporadically through this year ... and that is time-consuming.

Anyhow - in January I did some Bridal Beading on commission.

I knitted a dress with big sleeves for Imogen (a Blythe doll) and I tie dyed a T-shirt for Ruby (another Blythe doll).

this is my old victorinox swiss army knife it had a nasty plastic handle with a useles lock on the wrongside of the handle to be of use.i replaced the scales with some rather nice red dyed stabilised birch burl scales,all done by me in 4 hours.

Scania V8 580 Topline by Mark Schofield

Customised Scania V8 during 2010 when it was still running under the Scrapliner name, later to be Logwood Garage. This was for sale on Ebay recently. Very nice motor when it first collected at our place, the interior is fully customised, someone spent serious money on this, I did think about buying it from Brent.
