he pyramid-shaped building houses an unusual collection of predominantly 1950s to 1990s vehicles in various stages of customisation, hard to find in any other car museum, www.enam.ae/index.html
This museum is an amazing private collection of H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan.
The collection houses a vast array of cars and other vehicles; some seemingly bought from owners there and then, such as a customised camper van, others received as presents from all around the world. While some have been kept as originally intended, others have been modified to suit the Sheikh's preference.
You will find several Mercedes, one in each colour of the rainbow for each day of the week. And they are all fitted with conveniences such as refrigerators and TV. A number of other vehicles are also rainbow coloured or have a rainbow logo painted on them and have matching seats and hubcaps. There are a number of military vehicles into which children are allowed to climb; one even has a golfing range on top.
The Dodge comes in all sizes but none is as impressive as the 5-metre-high model with a complete apartment under its roof. It was parked next to some dune-bashing monstrosities and a shiny see-through disco car. including:
an 8 times oversized replica of a Dodge Power Wagon truck, this is a towable caravan and has four bedrooms inside.
A very detailed replicable of an 1890s Benz three-wheeler.
A collection of 4-wheel-drive vehicles.
A small collection of identical Mercedes limousines, representing together all colours of the rainbow, are the trademark of the owner.
A number of 1950s American and 1970s European limousines with their large dimensions build a striking contrast to a sizable collection of bubble and mini cars in the adjacent row.
some 10 prototypes and racing cars.
With a workshop located behind the building, all exhibits are in excellent condition and several are roadgoing. There are also many gaps in the displays with no explanation. Only a handful of vehicles have information placards at all and even then it is simple specification info. There is no history or provenance provided.
On display outside are:
a 4:1 scale Jeep
a 4:1 scale Land Rover
Lockheed Tristar L-1011-385-1-114 MSN 193N-1093 the former British Airways Loch Fyne
This was a van parked outside where I worked some 25 years ago. I have only recently found out that this van was owned by singer Michelle Breeze and guitarist, Paul Brett, who performed in the showbar opposite. They have gone on to certain success in recent years.
Lads told me there was a mattress in the back, though I never saw the rear door open myself.
I have no idea what this van is, so help and comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Had this crazy idea of fitting a Blythe head into a plastic sphere and turning into a Gumball machine. Then the Gumball Guardians came into my mind! Being an Adventure Time fan, I got so excited and jumped straight into creating her. Painting the insides of the plastic sphere was a total bitch but it was worth it!
The Gumball Guardians are one of my favorite characters. Ancient, mighty, powerful, giant and pink, what's not to love about them? I love their concept especially, 2 giant gumball beings sitting at the edge of the castle, blowing bubbles in the air and protecting the Candy Kingdom. There's just something magical about them.

I have been using Apples Aperture software (version 3) for about a month now.
But this is my first post using my own customised preset. The preset took about 3 minutes to create after a little trial and error with the look I wanted.
The beauty of creating a preset is that you are not limited to factory settings and you can create your own style or styles to be reused at will.
The other key benefit to using Aperture is that the changes are not saved with the master file and each editing step can be easily undone. This saves disk space and lets the photographer edit in a non linear fashion if desired.
This particular setting uses a mild cross process and levels adjustment to achieve a more more punchy, crisp image than the original photo (see first comment below). The effect gives the paintwork a "brand new" like lustre
I modded and painted this Nerf Maverick to be suitable for use as a film prop (here's what it looked like to start with). It's also performance modified with air restrictors and dart guides removed. I used 2 coats flat black spray enamel and dry-brushed silver and copper paints over the top, with highlights picked out in gold. I kept the Blaze Orange muzzle cap unpainted for legal reasons, but I've photoshopped one of these images to show what it would look like with a painted muzzle cap. :) Steampunk-inspired, and based on the work of some other very talented Nerf modders.

Shown here is the Custom specified 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop Coupe.
This lego model 1957 Chevrolet has been built for Flickr LUGNuts 57th Build Challenge - 'From Mild to Wild' - the second half of a two month challenge to build a 'plain Jane' model, and then spend the second month customising it.
The modified version were inspired by Fred Ottens' 5-wide Tiny Turbo scale modified 1957 as seen in mocpages:
www.mocpages.com/moc.php/237244
This is not the first 1957 Chevrolet I have modelled, so the form and function has been developed over time. The model features body-on-frame construction, and lego piston vee-four engine (mimicing the package of the V8), live rear axle suspension, independent front suspension and rear-wheel-drive. The body features opening bonnet (hood), boot (trunk), and two coupe doors.

Here’s my Superman doll customised to look like Bow from She Ra. I have been meaning to make one about three Superman dolls ago but…. I finally did it.
I based his look more on the He Man Classics action figures rather than the bright orange hair from the show since my She Ra doll is more naturalistic coloured as well and I wanted this to look as much as he could have come from the same line as She Ra.
And yeah if anyone is paying attention it’s the same colour as Allan’s hair when I touch up scuff marks.
Customised Triumph TR5T for sale at the Eurojumble. The only Ducati parts were the mudguards and sticker on the tank. Supertrapp Silencer, I think.

I'm using MP board to make this toy. "MP" stands for Multi Purpose Board. This is a better medium than paper because it's more solid and it doesn't get blown away or crushed so easily. The best of all is that you can customise it with any medium of your choice!
Toy Description:
-This board is about 1 mm in thickness
-Using Super glue or Uhu glue to join it together
-Using Sand paper to sand it smooth
Customising the surface:
-Using spray paint ,water paint, drawing maker or any medium on it.
Not satisfied with the outcome? Don't worry, you can always use thinner and it wipe off. See it's just that simple !
Have fun customising ur own Toy !

Left side view. All the lettering and images were all hand - painted, probably with enamel paints. The lighter shade of peach / reddish pink looks to be spray painted on. The window unit is as clear as day...
