This custom built Black Stretch Limousine was used by President Lyndon Johnson beginning in 1968 while he was in Austin, Texas. Weighing 5,100 pounds, the limousine is equipped with a TV, telephone, and reserve gas tank. There is a specially designed communication system within the car for contact with the Secret Service. However, the vehicle is not armored, bullet-proof or bomb-proof.
The first Presidential limousine was built for Franklin Roosevelt. The 1939 twelve-cylinder engine, four-door convertible was known as "The Sunshine Special."
This custom-built 1975 Supertrike, by Supercycles of Memphis, Tennessee, is one of three that were owned and driven by Elvis Presley. It features a 65bhp 1600cc Volkswagen engine. I got this shot at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, in Cleveland, Ohio.

I see we've returned to this crappy layout in my absence!
Kings Lynn was once one of England's most important ports & is home to some gorgeous buildings which reflect its rich maritime history.
One of the best of these is the Custom House which dates back to 1683.
Now one wouldn't expect Walter P. Chrysler's wife Della to drive to the Club or to the polo match by herself, now would we? Of course not. That's what common people would do even if they were members of the Club, which, obviously, would be impossible. And, for those occasions, why not get chauffeured to your destinations, and do so in the style that you so much deserve and have earned! And when you said "I do" you then moved up to that grand status and position. And, I might add, what better way would it be to do that then in a one-off custom bodied Imperial by LeBaron? (well, maybe in a Bugatti Type 41 Royale, but that changes the story completely!)
And from that day forth, her finely manicured hands never touched a steering wheel again!
And now the rest of the story penned by Angelo Van Bogart:
With Chrysler as her last name — Mrs. Walter P. Chrysler, to be exact — Della Chrysler’s automotive choices weren’t as limited as one might expect.
Certainly, Mrs. Chrysler drove a Chrysler automobile, but in 1937, she chose not to be carried in one of the dizzying number of production sedans and limousines in the Custom Imperial Eight or Royal Six line. Nor did Mrs. Chrysler order one of the semi-custom Derham town cars also carried in the 1937 Chrysler catalog. Instead, Mrs. Chrysler had a one-of-a-kind town car built on a Custom Imperial chassis of an art deco form that rivaled the wildest town cars built on Duesenberg and Rolls-Royce chassis.
The teardrop-shaped town car body on her 1937 Custom Imperial built by coachbuilder LeBaron dripped elegance and was perfectly mated to the new streamlined styling of the 1937 Chrysler line. The bulbous aluminum LeBaron passenger compartment was painted black and mimicked the production Chrysler pontoon front fenders. The period-perfect Chrysler streamlining began at the “ship’s prow” front-end, which was striped with horizontal grille bars and matching chrome speed lines along the hood sides. The horizontal theme was picked up by LeBaron with speed lines behind the rear door at the sail panel and with horizontally ribbed aluminum trim that circled the body from the back of one front fender to the rear of the opposite front fender. The subtle trim piece literally brought the whole car together — production chassis and front-end styling with unique town car coachwork — as it streaked from the front fender, across the running boards and unique rear fender skirts, around the back of the car and all the way to the rear of the opposite front fender.
Inside, this special town car continued the art deco theme, from the production three-spoke steering wheel with ribbed bars and elegant gauges to the unique console built into the division window. Carpet as thick as a mink coat covered the floor, and seats as plush as the softest bed cradled rear seat passengers.
his slice of wheeled heaven wasn’t available to everyone, but was made available to those such as Mrs. Walter P. Chrysler, who could afford the craftsmanship of a hand-built LeBaron body fitted with the utmost of luxury by that Detroit concern. At the time, LeBaron was not yet absorbed by the Chrysler Corp., which later relegated the LeBaron name to a model. Rather, at this time, it was an independent subsidiary of the Briggs Body Co. that built bodies for Packard, Lincoln, Duesenberg and Pierce-Arrow, among others.
Mrs. Chrysler’s 1937 town car was not the first LeBaron-built body for Chrysler family, but it was probably the last. Just five years earlier, LeBaron had built a pair of custom 1932 Imperials for the Walter P. Chrysler family: a unique close-coupled sedan for Walter P. and a speedster for his son, Walter P. Chrysler Jr. Shortly after the 1937 LeBaron town car was built, in May 1938, Walter P. suffered a stroke. In August of that year, Della Chrysler passed away. Walter P. followed her to eternal rest two years later, in 1940.
Sometime after Della Chrysler passed away, her 1937 LeBaron town car passed on to her daughter, Bernice Chrysler Garbisch. Her initials “BCG” were added with cast letters to each rear door. However, neither she or her chauffeur drove the car much and today the odometer has registered just 25,501 miles. Very few of those were added after the car left Garbisch’s garage and went into the collection of Long Island car collector Harry Gilbert in the 1950s.

JDA 555 is an early and unique car, custom built for Ken Rose the son of Hugh Rose, the Lea Francis designer. Powered naturally by a Lea Francis engine, Ken wanted his car to look like the ruinously expensive Ferrari 166 Barchetta. JDA 555 was completed in March 1951 ordered primarily for competition work, its unique body being styled by Abbey panels of Coventry. The car made its racing debut in March 1951 at Fairfiel Airfield, Diss, Norfolk driven by Ken Rose.
Made this and thought why not post it since i'm still not ready to get a good photo of my civil war spiderman custom
Custom built from - I don't know what. All the normal "give aways" were missing - logos, engine castings frame. I don't know for certain but that engine looks like a small Kawasaki.
Nice to see it being used even when the weather was inclement.

Thelonis was custom built in 1953 for a Portland Oregon dentist who wanted a ‘traditional-style’ boat, so Ed Monk, Sr modified one of his 1920’s plans. Built by Admiral Marine Works (Earle Wakefield) on Lake Union in Seattle. In addition to operating Admiral Marine, Earle Wakefield was concurrently head instructor at the Edison Technical boat-building school. Although Thelonius looks very 1920’s, several features are more ‘modern’, such as glue-wedge hull (rather than caulked seams), V-drive engine under the cockpit (rather than below the wheelhouse), greater beam and headroom. Thelonius was cruised as far as Juneau, Alaska in 1915.
The Vagabond name plate above Thelonis belongs to the yacht behind her.

Custom built by Grordbort's Industries.
This is based on the Dr. Grordbort books by Greg Broadmore (Weta Workshop NZ). I thoroughly recommend checking these books out, they are a great mix of art, humour, sci-fi and steampunky goodness :)

Custom built Master Chief HALO minifigure.
I bought this customized armor & helmet from a local supplier in Australia, though he does not leave any info regarding who makes these. Can anyone recognize these pieces & maybe let me know who made this cast?
Anyhow, I built the rest of him, added details & painted it.

custom built, cost the city over $1/2 million. We need to "enforce the river". Maybe grammar lessons would have been more appropriate.
Recently met up with the builder of this bike to help him showcase his work. More of my work can be found on my website, Instagram, and Facebook pages.
The Spirit of St. Louis (formally the Ryan NYP, registration: N-X-211) is custom-built; the Spirit of St. Louis was powered by a 223 hp (166 kW), air-cooled, nine-cylinder Wright J-5C single Whirlwind radial engine. It was a single-seat, high-wing monoplane that was flown by Charles Lindbergh on May 20–21, 1927, on the first solo nonstop transatlantic flight from Long Island, New York, to Paris, France, for which Lindbergh won the $25,000 Orteig Prize.
Lindbergh took off in the Spirit from Roosevelt Airfield, Garden City, New York, and landed 33 hours, 30 minutes later at Aéroport Le Bourget in Paris, France, a distance of approximately 3,600 miles (5,800 km). One of the best-known aircraft in the world, the Spirit was built by Ryan Airlines in San Diego, California, owned and operated at the time by Benjamin Franklin Mahoney, who had purchased it from its founder, T. Claude Ryan, in 1926. The Spirit is on permanent display in the main entryway's Milestones of Flight gallery at the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is celebrating a giant in aviation history at the Spruce Goose 75th Anniversary Gala. This replica plane is sitting under a wing of the Hughes H-4 Hercules (commonly known as the Spruce Goose; registration NX37602). It's a fun place to visit; and there's a water park next door for when it gets hot out; like it is now.

Custom built BrickForge/SDT/BigKidBrix/LEGO Star Wars Captain Rex minifigure. Custom torso armor designed by Breakthrough Army.
Time for another Star Wars themed character. I`ve had this Custom Rex I bought from Ebay for a while now & thought it was time to re-customize him some more. I`ve got some unpainted Breakthrough Army armor pieces recently & they are great casts. Nice fit & easy to paint. I tried to mimic the dirty, battle-worn gear that Rex always seems to have on as he just looked too white for the rest of my collection.
Custom-built for Disney by Paris-based company Aérophile S.A., the Aéro30 is filled with 210,000 cubic feet of helium. The balloon’s 19-foot-diameter basket holds up to 29 people, plus one Aérophile-certified pilot. Ticket prices: $25 for adults (ages 10 and older), $20 for children (ages 3 to 9).

Custom built BrickArms/BrickWarriors/40K Bitz/LEGO minifigure.
The second of the Knights I`m currently building. This is the Grey Knight. Keeping with the similar style of the Red Knight but gave this one a slight "battle wash" after painting. One more Knight to come in a different colour scheme & some Viking Warriors on the way too.
Custom built BrickArms/BrickWarriors/BrickForge/SDT/LEGO minifigure.
Another Apoc style character but I found a practicle use for the annoying SDT ammo pack. I could use armor with it & even the impossible ammo belt is behaving itself. I quite like how the riot shield came out with it`s battle worn look & parts of the armor & helmet were treated this way but is hard to notice in these shots. Lots of removable parts on this one.

I dont really use yellow a lot as a prime colour when painting & find it hard to work with sometimes. This guy was gonna be some kind of modern Tactical trooper but started to resemble a bumble-bee when I tried yellow then got the idea to play around with the W.A.S.P concept rather than S.W.A.T. He kinda reminds me of a fireman for some reason too. A bit outrageous I know but it`s different!
Custom built BrickArms/BrickWarriors/BrickForge/LEGO minifigure.
A simple custom re-make of the LEGO Astronaut/Diver minifigure. I think the minigun arm conversion looks pretty cool. I was gonna connect an ammo chain to it but left it off. I probably could of done a neater job so I may even do another similar type at some point.

He`s been on a list to do so while I have most of him I thought I`d better do a Darth. Probably one of the most iconic LEGO minifigures made. I wish I knew how to photoshop a light-saber beam as the one he`s got kinda did`nt work due to the low lighting. My dad is an electronics technician so I`m gonna get him to make one up with a tiny LED in the hilt so it lights up when I need to do more Jedi figs.

Molded, cut, drilled and assembled 100% by me. I may consider selling some in the not too distant future if there is *serious* interest, but they take a couple hours each to make so the cost would reflect that.

I custom built this resin kit from Berkshire Valley a number of years ago for the layout and just loved posing my car collection with it. Here we see some rare resin and white metal in full detailing and authentic late 50’s appearance. Included are 1/48 Scale St Petersburg Tram Scenicruiser I built up from a kit, detailed beyond the already incomparable detailing by SPT. The 59’ Buick is a Western Models Collectors Edition imported by the Route 66 Model Car Store and a custom built Model Company of New Zealand Model T Pickup.
Custom built BrickArms/BrickWarriors/BrickForge/SDT/LEGO minifigure. Hazel armor cast.
The armor & helmet pieces are another one of those casts by Hazel. It`s the Colonial Marine though he kinda changed after I made the oxy mask & started to look more pilot-like. The whole mask assembly can be removed. I think pilot style figs look fantastic probably due to all the terrific headgear that is available.
