Custom painted shoes created by Seattle local artist Sensei 23 ( flickr.com/sensei23 ) in the theme of Nightmare Before Christmas. I commissioned them to become a gift for my teenage niece. She absolutely loved them.

I decided to customize the shoebox as my form of wrapping. Black gesso was used as the base coat. I created a stencil from his logo and spray painted the box and the logo. Two coats of clear coat protect the box. It was finished with coated copper wire was used as the ribbon. My niece wondered if the box was going to explode.

Rolling North on 101 the other day, Heuer and I spotted this Lexus that seemed to be very *loved* by its owner.
Custom paint jobs are not cheap, and it looks like a lot of time and effort went into creating 'this look'. Notice the matching rims too. Nice.
