Hey all! A bit of a departure from the usual bleach stuff, wanted to give some love to another of my favorite IPs, Star Wars!
The biggest modeling challenge here was absolutely the hairpiece for Darth Traya. I've always struggled with hair, so wanted to challenge myself with her and not just use a black hood piece. Still included it as a 'hood-down' look. I think the mix of base texture with added strand highlights is a technique that works well for the lego aesthetic while keeping detail (really should just get better at sculpting lol). Getting all of the details to layer and look well together and not look too busy took a bit of trial and error. The headdress on top, for example, blending into the hair properly was HARD, but I learned quite a few modeling things that I can already tell will speed up my workflow going forward.
Another thing I played with was the robe itself. Her robe is actually quite textured when compared to the normal Jedi/Sith robe. it has more pronounced vertical folds, so if you look closely you can see I have that represented in the main torso part of the robe. I tried to get that in the arm parts too, but it didn't look quite right, so I changed back to leave them smooth.
Had fun doing my first lightsabers too! there really isn't a ton of official reference for what her lightsaber hilts looked like (specifically Kreia), so I designed my own while looking at what I could find. Decided to keep the hilt between Traya and Kreia, and just shift the colors a bit.

The Riddler teams up with the Joker, Zeiss and Livewire in a risky attempt to rob Gotham City Bank. The task is not that easy though - Commissioner Gordon, Batman, Nightwing and Red Hood are ready for action.
So here are my TWO versions of the same character. I made Version A a while ago but I think Version B works better.
I changed him after getting the new Avengers Spaceship and having an extra re-breather. What do you think??

Something else I've had kicking around for years. Updated my Interceptor, reducing the whole thing by 2 studs in height, and adding my custom decals. Also improved the interior and back section to make the gas canisters less janky.
MARVEL X D&D: THE PALADIN
This is the eighth post of a series that explores what a number of fantastical Marvel characters would be if they were one of the 13 different classes of Dungeons and Dragons (5e). The eighth of these classes is the Paladin.
Ghost Rider (Oath of Vengeance)
A paladin is a heavy hitter that can often be seen swinging a weapon glowing with the conviction of their oath's magic. For some paladins, that oath tends to be a bit darker, namely that of the Oath of Vengeance. Ghost Rider is often seen wielding a whip of fiery chain, smiting down his foes and those who commit evil acts in a brutal, smoking tribunal. While he may have gotten his abilities from an outside source, he still makes an excellent Paladin of Vengeance, doling out flaming, retributive justice on those that earn his enmity.

You may notice my finger bobbing in and out of view in the bottom right. This is because, eventhough I use words like "turntable", the fish is actually standing on my cheese platter which i am rotating manually. 😅

This armor also includes an advanced environmental control system, which alternately helps to cool the core temperature during the harsh heat of the daytime and provide heat, as needed, at night. Their helmets are also designed to deflect heat and provide the soldiers with protection during extended periods in direct sun.

Modeled off of the genus Eriocnemis, a group of hummingbirds found throughout South America commonly known as "Pufflegs". A simple little friend I threw together over the course of an evening for a contest on the Brickarms Discord, but has stuck around.
