Despite having a lot of Humvee photos I've never put these two together in a photo!

Thought I'd show a shot of these two together, the AAV-7 and LVT-4
Earlier a BA tripod arm flipped over my shoulder and I could not find it anywhere, I practically turned every piece of furniture upside down to find it..with no luck after 45 minutes I decided to look closer to home and low and behold it has flipped up and into my top pocket haha..least I found it!
Many copies of my LVT but only one true original and here she is again ; )

I always wondered who he was before the war.
He holds an overmolded BrickArms M1911 with the safety switch molded into the trigger guard. This figure will be the only way to get this specific variant of the overmolded M1911. All later versions omit the safety.
I'll have him at WWB, and maybe BrickFair VA.
The M113 is definetly my favourite APC, loads of reasons why and the M106 Morty is a fav within a fav for sure in all its variants. I've added some extra armour on the sides/front and rear that clips on and off quickly and easily.
Maybe I prefer the older APC's due to being a kid in the 80's where at the time it did look slightly futuristic compared to older APC's, it looked great in the movies and on TV especially going through water or coming out of the back of a plane. I really like that it kind looks like a Tank but ain't a tank and troops can pour out of the back to fight giving an extra suprise to enemies. The door within the door at the rear is something I still find cool too.
Also Flickr has changed again and once again it's not for the better, ah well it is what it is!
A few changes since last photo. Nose is different/mini gun also. Sides have been changed underneath pilots and details to be more correct. New sloping on sides of engines as before used a mix of slopes and cheese where as now its all slopes and closed a gap that bugged me before. Exhausts are also new and look much better imo.
I did some other things too, mainly internally to lessen parts while making it stronger. Sure is a pain to get a good angle on a 4 bladed helicopter as shooting from above the blades get in the way.
So here comes the next step in modern warfare. Its a great pleasure to give this figs a bit more realistic pose. hope you like it!
Another of my display stands..once again ive used "Lifelites" to light underneath for a cool effect..credit to Maclain for the cubedude face..still find building these fun..one more planned and i will leave them for a while..did my best for a canadian Maple Leaf in the middle with what i had..quick fun builds..really cool to have on your desk..now go make one! Also im ok with the new "following" thing..just a name change as far as i can see.

This photo of the MOC highlights the two interior spaces which can be accessed by removing two side panels. This concept was inspired by an image from a Star Wars Visual Dictionary and I am very happy with how the feature turned out. The lower deck also features two Power-Functions lights. Although they are quite dim I think they add a nice layer of detail to the MOC. However I wasn't able to include any on the upper deck, mainly due to the the fact that I only own one pair. The battery box is housed in what would be the cargo bay, I decided not to included any access to this area in the MOC as it is not featured in the film.

Finished product of my Autumn Oakleaf after many months of testing and experimenting. Turned out pretty good, except for the paint that sort of became 3D. Will try to fix that in the future.

Pouches used come from a Dragon Model kit. If you notice you can see that the string (or whatever it’s called) at the collar is an actual piece of string.

Din Djarin reimagined as a greek hoplite. I got the itch to make a Mudhorn emblem shield a while back and it has turned into a whole series of Mandalorian Hoplites. First one is is done! THE LICH'S LAIR.
Here we have my third entry into the #halloweenhabitats25 and #letsbuildhalloween2 challenges over on Instagram! Again, continuing the theme of undead D&D enemies, we have a lich in his lair. I tried multiple tile patterns before eventually settling on this one, attempting to convey the grandiose taste of a creature that pursues eternal life/undeath. If there's one thing liches have, it's a flair for the dramatic, right? Collected in the lich's lair, we see a bit of everything, including some of his favorite trinkets, one of his favorite spells, a lovely still-life from one of his favorite artists, his grimoire with his nastiest and most profane magic, and of course, the captured souls of many adventurers which he'll use to one day feed his phylactery! Clearly, he's brought some more with thim, however--I wonder where he'll find the space to store them? As always, for lore: read on!
In the world of D&D, liches are powerful spellcasters who have taken on the mission to learn and conduct dark, unholy rituals that tether their soul permanently to their body, even after death. While their spirits inhabit their bodies, the flesh and its innards continue to rot away, leaving the lich with a rather macabre visage. They often dress themselves in fineries, which convey the quality of enlightenment they tend to claim they've achieved in their abominable state of being. Liches undergo the process of trapping their souls within a vessel known as a phylactery, which they often keep heavily guarded, or even hidden and inconspicuous, to avoid being destroyed by self-righteous heroes. To destroy a lich's phylactery is to destroy its safety net of regenerating after its physical form is slain. Thus, it is left vulnerable, and capable of being extinguished. A lich will fight with all its might to avoid having its broader ambitions cut short by a setback such as being slain again, and will employ devastating magic and traps to deter intruders that would infiltrate its lair.
Another version of my WW2 German motorbike, was one of the first bikes I ever made so I kept the original until now, thought Id take a snap outside ; )

Thought it was about time I did a Police based build, I wanted to work out a way to fit this Police windshield and a frontal mud guard into one of my custom bikes. At this scale and done in a way I've never seen anybody else do was tricky, looks simple enough..but doesn't everything once it's been done! ; )
I've been watching Terminator 2 a lot lately, kinda inspired this build and another on the way!

I made this moving PacMan display that uses inter channel figures. The actual IDEA project page has gifs that show the moving of the figures in the build. The movement is done with a manual crank on the side of the stand which can be seen on other images in the project. The ghost figures on the stand are interchangeable with the figures you see on the side.

Our 9th kit is up, you knew this one had to be coming! It has a removable helmet and asymmetric details on the legs, the entire figure is covered in accurate detailed armor, belts, pouches, etc...
The parts shown are lightly finished with super fine steel wool and 600 grit wet-sanded.
Kit is meant for experienced customizers and not for play by children!
