CUSTOM PROJECTS
In 1989 we opened our custom wood shop in North Hollywood, California and have been creating unique bench made home furnishings ever since. We build in most woods as well as working in metal, cement and upholstered goods. Reclaimed wood has been our passion since our beginning and continues to be a strong creative outlet for many of our original designs.

Modern Sofa with curved sofa frame arms covered in a rich velvet and traditional print pillows. This sofa itself was a contrast to say the least! A soft gentle glow with a deep teal blue background and the very Funky Polaroid Emulsion technique by Jack Perno of Chicago was the ultimate, unusual execution.
We love working with photographers and creatives who are professional, yet love thinking outside of the box!
No one can ever quite figure out and what to make of the technique! Is it photo shop? is it on printed fabric? It is Polaroid Film. Yeah, we said Polaroid, you know the stuff you use to buy in packages at Walgreens at $10.00 for 10 shots. Ha! Boy, has photography changed!

Why call this metal side table the “Euro”? Well, it has old world grates, you wouldn’t be surprised to see it sitting at a café and it’s smoking.

If only clients knew how much time and details go into some of the custom
furniture we build. This Mahogany trestle dining table gave our manager a
workout since this table had to be built in solid Mahogany, lots of time was
taken just to glue up all the parts before a single cut could be made. Most
wood doesn't come in very thick dimensions so if we want 12" thick trestle
legs than we have to create this the old fashion way, one board at a time.
This steel large console table is a great place to put those things you always forget – your keys, your phone, the names of your kids. The Family Circle Table is even big enough to hold a picture of you, your wife and…uh…what’s-his-name and the other one.
• Circle in-lays with hidden family names
• 2 steel drawers and lower shelf
• Custom drawer pulls
• 36” h X 66” w X 16” d
--testimonial-- “I love having functional custom artwork that’s personalized! My family members’ names discretely hidden throughout the piece is a great touch. My foyer console table with shelf blends in nicely with the rest of the house, yet stands on its own nicely as a centerpiece of conversation.”

When you walk through the storm
Hold your head up high and don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm there's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark
Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone, you'll never walk alone!

This is my workbench area in the shop. The workbench is in a spot that's easy to pull it into the middle of the room so I can work around a project. My clamps are located nearby, as are my handtools.
Nobody looks cool while they work – except rock stars and custom metal furniture makers, but with a desk like this you can come close. Now, quit admiring and get back to your solitaire.
