Due Diligence: Movie producer Jeffrey Levy-Hinte, whose resume includes the 2003 youth drama "Thirteen," bought this 1934 house five years ago for $3 million.
It was built for actress Anna Sten. Neutra, one of the most famous California architects, designed the house in the International Style, with rows of tall windows overlooking rolling lawns and the ocean.
Mr. Levy-Hinte says he spent $4.5 million for a complete restoration, helped by Neutra's original drawings.
Asked why he's selling the house for little more than its purchase and restoration costs,
Mr. Levy-Hinte terms the price tag "appropriate for the market."
He says he's now spending more time away from Los Angeles.

This is 1:6 Mansion perfect for hot toys, barbie or fashion royalty. Ken Haseltine constructed, designed and built this 1:6 scale diorama and designed and customized the furnishings, florals and layout.

Used a photo this week taken by my daughter for this weeks Blythe A Day, she had a cute idea for a shoot with her new Button Arcade dress, zebra Domo and his wubba chicken. I thought she looked as if she were over Domo in this photo so I asked to use it.
The 3 Black and White prints are made from Karl Blossfeldt images from an IKEA note card.

The Sofa Bed has been reUpholstered, and "modernized"...
I finished the back draping, and two side panels with tufted sides as well as the fringe edging on the mattress.Still have a few more details to do. This work took me about a good 10-14 hours off and on.

Blackened stainles steel and hot rolled steel counter for Ceremony Coffee Roasters in Mt. Vernon, Baltimore, MD.
This started out, as a crusty-rusty-paint peelin'-piece of iron.
After trimming away extraneous attachments/sandblasting, (2nd) adding Angle Iron legs of the same dimension/proportion as the existing frame/(3rd) grinding / smoothing /reblasting / patina-ing,rubbing, and (4th) several layers of HVLP sprayed PoxyCoat sealer....
.....it became a new Table!

Galvanized steel deck grating- commonly used for factory mezzanine flooring- gets "rePurposed" as Garage Shelving- w/ custom "Ball-Storage Caddy" /cage & "stick" (hockey,baseball bats,pogo sticks, lacrosse, etc.) storage.
The top shelf is for skis,snowboards,etc...the hanging pole stores scuba equipment for this VERY active family.
I found a cubicle I could hide behind curtains!! When it's revealed, crazytown. Finally a place for all my retro-creepy toys. Yes, the anime figure absolutely do not mix, but I only have one cubbyhole so they have to share.
My wide angle lense makes all the angles outta whack, so it looks even more crazy.
What's in that curious cabinet above you ask? Why it's stuffed fulll of books and TV series DVDs. I don't even have space for one more. *SIGH*

Ack! They are full. No, don't panic! There's still space for one more little shelf. (:P
Good thing too, because I still have alot on my want list. Not to be ungrateful for what I have (because I love them all very much), but I really need to get a Peguila or Chandler, Pigmon, Garamon Max, Namegon, Gandar of course, newer Bemular, Gyeron Starbem, Don Ron, Dodongo, King Molerat, Grangon, Gudis, newer Red King, Mogrudon, Natsunomeryu, Shugaron, Banila, old dark brown Gomora, Kodalar, Magnia, and Birdon EX. Those will all fit in that tiny space, right? (:o
Side note. I'm actually working on a database of the Ultra Monster Series, and I'm up to 800 figures and counting! (:O
