Pearl white and yellow paint. Though it's not all that low, this car definitely qualifies as a classic lowrider "bomb".

JBA was a British company formed from 3 redundant employees of British Leyland. The car design is based on a Jaguar SS100 and the body was taken from a 1986 Ford Sierra!

All the good looking girls love a lowrider!

'54 Merc tail lights.

Great looking car with late '50s, early '60s look. Smoothed deck lid and lack of sun visor and fender skirts take this car out of the "bomb" catagory. Back in the day there were a lot of cool cars like this on the streets and in high school parking lots. Regrettably, these days it's nearly impossible to tell the students vehicles from those of the faculty.

The car is Candy Apple Red and silver metalflake. The wire wheels look like Daytons, expensive and very rare at the time.

Visit on March 6, 2015 to the Detroit Autorama, America's greates hot rod show, as it is billed. More than 1000 cars are displayed on two levels, with a few of them actually being authentic original-style classics.

Lace was laid on the body surfaces and spray painted for a stenciled effect.

Headlight rings are '56 Olds. Waffle iron grille is from a '58 Buick. Subtle changes are what makes this car great.

This car is very much in the style of Southern California mild customs from the late 1950s.
