1929 Ford “Niekamp Roadster”

Built in 1949 by Bill Niekamp on a 1927 frame with a modified 1942 Mercury 239cu-in V8 and 1939 Ford rear axle.

The hood and nose-piece are hand fabricated in aluminium.

A very clean job that looks like it could have appeared on the pages of one of the mid-'50s "little pages" magazines. There are no pretensions here, just a successful attempt to improve the looks of the car.

Just right chop with slanted center post. A very clean custom. This car could have been built 50 years ago but is in fact recent.

Taken at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds Hot Rod Show. Used a Canon T3i and Sigma 17-70mm lens.

Jerry Aggus and his 1955 Chevy Nomad, "The Pink Panther 2". Jerry built the original "Pink Panther", also a '55 Nomad, back in the 1960s.

A well done early '60s style custom.

Appears to have started out as a '52-'54 Ford or Mercury.

This car appears to be based on a military surplus auxiliary fuel tank...or several of them.

One of my oldest shoots. Way back in 2007.

In the style of Larry Watson's '59, which was painted virtually identical except for candy red instead of green.
