A Cursive Memory

Here I drew a lower case a cursive S. Once with my right hand, starting at the beginning, then starting at the end. I then did the same thing with my left hand, again starting at the beginning and then starting at the end.

I've practiced for a long time trying to become totally ambidextrous. People have made notice in the past that I do hold a fork when I eat sometimes with my right, sometimes left. The same thing goes for a cup or glass, so I like to experiment writing with either hand.

This is from the late-60s version, with the new logo.

Week 7 of 7/52. I am thrilled beyond words. I found this old Olympia CURSIVE typewriter. They are so hard to find and the typeface is amazing. I never thought I'd ever find one but I did and it was only $8! It also once belonged to CBS News! It's filthy and needs a lot of cleaning but as far as I can tell it works like a champ. I am so excited!

I use print letters more often than cursive. It has the advantage of people being able to read it.
