Along with this, on July 31st, Conor will play a benefit in Omaha, NE, "Concert for Equality", which will aid the ACLU in their effort to repeal Fremont's similar Anti-Immigrant Law. The line up for this festival is: Desaparecidos, Cursive, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Bright Eyes, Lullaby For The Working Class, FATHR^, The Envy Corps, David Dondero, The So-So Sailors, Conchance, Simon Joyner, Flowers Forever, & Vago.

Lost art of writing in cursive. There are some grade schools that are no longer teaching cursive to their children. Everyone prints or types. Marc Rossmiller's add and pass "Lost Art."

Inscription in a beautiful squiggly hand. Circular seals aren't the most common, making this all the more interesting. The red (vermillion, really), adds a dash of color to the monochrome work.

That's me and grandma in the drawing with severe lack of noses :)

I was tagged by Studio :D and then it inspired a blog post. I hate to think that this artistic and useful skill is being neglected in favour of technological literacy, but I suspect I am in the minority on that one. I really do love the individuality that comes through in a person's handwriting.
