Curry Wurst, a chopped up sausage served up in heated tomato ketchup and sprinkled with curry powder. I never knew that you could use curry powder as a condiment. Must try it some time on some of the pretty awful that I make.

Currywurst is the national fast food of Germany. It's very delicious. We had some at a food stall right outside of the KaDeWe in Berlin. There is a good article about currywurst at the WSJ.
A poster outside a Turkish-run snack bar on Kottbusser Tor advertises "Turkish curry-wurst, 100 % Beef". Not a bad snack, but it wasn't the best I had on my tour.

An old S-Bahn carriage converted into a Currywurst shop. Great last meal in Germany before flying home.
Mark and I sharing a plate of currywurst and fries. Well he ate most of the fries and sausage anyway. I enjoyed a glass of apfelschorle (carbonated mineral water and apple juice).
