An enlightening collection of interviews conducted with Noam Chomsky during the first month following the attacks of September 11, 2001 on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.
Postcard advertising an event in Berlin, Germany called "Long Night of Sciences" held in June, 2025. Sent by a Postcrossing member in that country to thank me for a postcard that I had sent her.
Goings-on at the Saturday November 19th rally calling for the Korean president to step down...A bizarre cronyism scandal sent the president's approval rating plummeting to unheard-of nil to 5% levels. One positive externality of the rallies - a spike in candle and lightstick sales!

In the days after the Korean president's spectacular descent into the hoosegow, the Kwanghwamun candle rallies continue. This rally is a smaller-scale affair and is mostly a protest against the installation of a controversial anti-missile battery. There were, however, still some splashes of art and satire aimed at the former-prez-turned-inmate.
I attended a seminar for a few days up in Hell's Kitchen at a Holiday Inn. On the corner of 57th and 9th Avenue was a lot of space where billboards have been posted, and so I took a few shots.
This is clearly meant to be art, at least, I saw it as such. Enlarge it to get the full effect. Ugh - if this is a Gap ad I'm going to be pissed!
