I know I'm selfish, I'm unkind.

Sucker love I always find,

Someone to bruise and leave behind.

All alone in space and time.

Absolutely curious effect

A sailing day with the Lady Enid turned into one of the best snorkeling experiences as we were accompanied by one of the most curious and biggest Green Turtles we ever encountered. While the reef had suffered a bit in the past, from various storms & bleaching, it is recovering and the Clams offer amazing spots of colours. I did not know they had such a variety and such gorgeous forms - and such a colour spectrum :D

The staff of the Lady Enid were spectacular, and if you ever fancy a Sailing trip around the Whitsundays, don't look further. The food was outstanding, the safety was paramount, and they know the islands like the back of their hands. It was a spectacular experience on this meticulously maintained multiple Regatta-Winner of a 60 year old Sailboat, built of Australian Timber

The Canada Goose Goslings are growing at an alarming rate, this one here was curious to see what I was doing. I've counted 25 so far from different families and at various rates of growth.

Waterdrops on an iridescent paper. I put drops over drops (with gel) to make the eyes (it took me a long time between mistakes and patience). After posting it, I realized it looked like a smiley peeking out curiously.

A rather healthy-looking individual momentarily popped up from the creek's bank, to only go back down after a few seconds.

Still working through a number of old photos and came across this little guy. A palm Warbler basking in the final light of the day.

This is a western kingbird, a relatively large flycatcher. We get them here in the summer. A bright yellow belly makes them easy to spot as they flitter around.

One from a series of shots of a charming female jumping spider.

With vision more acute than a cat, the eyes are used to locate prey and rivals and to find mates. Jumping spiders can leap up to 50 times their own length by powerfully extending the third or fourth pairs of legs, with the longer forelimbs extended to grasp the prey.
