These are some pretty, and also very cheap (60 pence for 4) cups for my new place!! Purchased from TESCO!! PINK!!
I love my Illy cup collection because I find the artwork wonderful. Decided to try out my photography skills on my favorite cup to share with you. This is my first attempt of photagraphy wih a background.
Today was Melbourne Cup Day and I had no hat. Using only paper, cardboard, scissors, sticky tape and things within her reach, Jodie made me this quite stunning fascinator in about 20 minutes.
I've named this my kindling bowl because it's made from some scraps that I had that would have been used for kindling a fire in my wood burning stove had I not used them for turning. The wood is pine from some stair treads that I installed last year. It's about 7" tall and 5" in diameter. Based on the shape and size I guess it could be called a vase or just a vessel.
I don't know if the pink, red, and brown cups are melamine but I remember similar ones when I was a kid in the 60's and 70's. The yellow ones have metal handles and has the letters NFC inside a circle and Pat.Pend. numbers.

it was so hard to let this one go after we made it, Chococat came out so well and I wanted to keep him... but alas... it was a custom order request and we had to part.
Me recuerdan los cup cakes que comia en la infancia, ahora tambien los puedo comer sin engordar.
Hechos a base de leche de coco, y algunas especies.
This tea cup belonged to my Great- great grandma. It has an interesting shape for way back then, with its 8 sides...
This was my first attempt at "still life". I set up a piece of black cardboard for a background and placed the cup on my polished timber dining table. I then shone a torch into the cup and placed my camera on a tripod and used the 10sec timer to try and eliminate shake (I don't have a remote release). Pretty happy with the outcome but will keep on practising :))))
