It’s a place that lingers in my heart—a land where the majestic mountains meet the sky, and the air feels thinner yet purer. The culture of Tibet is like a thread woven into the fabric of its ancient history—spiritual, serene, and deeply rooted in the land There’s a certain longing for the tranquility and profound beauty of Tibet that stays with you long after you leave.

Tibet, often referred to as the "Roof of the World," holds a special place in the hearts of the Tibetan people. For them, it is not just a land of stunning landscapes and towering mountains, but a spiritual sanctuary. Lhasa, the heart of Tibet, is a sacred city, home to revered sites like the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. These places are not merely tourist destinations, but symbols of deep faith and cultural heritage, where the Tibetan people have nurtured their traditions for centuries. Tibet's serene beauty and spiritual significance make it a land of profound importance in the lives of many Tibetans.

Dashain Tika is the highlight of Nepal's biggest festival, and in 2024, the most auspicious time to receive blessings is 11:36 AM. This is when elders will place a mixture of rice, yogurt, and red vermillion (tika) on the foreheads of younger family members, giving them blessings for a healthy, happy, and prosperous year. While 11:36 AM is considered the most auspicious moment based on astrological calculations, you can receive Tika and blessings throughout Vijaya Dashami. The most important thing is to celebrate with family and enjoy the spirit of togetherness. So get ready for the festivities and the joy of Dashain!
