From 8-10 May, 2015, Waag Society and The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision hosted the first of six Europeana Space hackathons. This was the main objective: come up with appealing ideas and applications to bring the rich archive of digitized European cultural heritage to the public.
The Europeana Space Project seeks prove that digitized cultural heritage material can be used in creative ways, and new business and sustainability models can be developed around these innovations.

A panorama I created this evening... I walked as fast as I could to my destination on a very sunny evening, but by the time I got there, the clouds had rolled in. I just changed tack and went for a more moody twilight shot instead.

Heeralal - The Fortune Telling Donkey
The guy inside the dias would ask the donkey questions like "Who are the people wearing glasses here?", "Who is going to be happily married?" etc.
Heeralal would move around and stop infront of the person to answer him.
Over 10 folk dance ensembles from Republic of Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia and Greece got fired up in a choreographic show, which was organized on Nistru Day, with the support of Sweden and UNDP Moldova. The event took place on the bank of the Nistru River in the village of Cioburciu, Stefan Voda district, reuniting young dancers, representatives of central and local public authorities and thousands of folk-art amateurs.
