This picture is part of the project "Lineas", a work that unifies curves and lines of the architectonic structure Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia, made by the architects Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela.
The City of Arts and Science is composed by five impressive structures that capture the look of many visitors because of their geometrical abstraction, a point that I decided to highlight by isolating some of those lines from their wider context.
The harmony is not only generated by the lines, but from the colors too: during the day the white and the grey of the buildings perfectly match whit the blue sky of Valence, that is reflected on the glasses and on the water of the big pool, that here we see just a little; however during the night the blue sky leaves room to the games of the artificial lights, that let us discover some previously hidden angles.
Porsche 977 Turbo. Worked on as part of Fix My Pic. background removed then the body work cleaned up to remove dirt and grime windows tinted out then a lot of work dodging and burning and put light layers over the body work to bring out the reflections and shadow detail then finally selected the brake callipers and turned the rest of the image to black and white then a little more work done to smooth the light and shadow blending finally a slight crop added to create a brochure style car shot.

An extensive geophysical survey has also been carried out on the field.
This is a very interesting site with finds ranging from a polished axe head and flints, through to Roman artefacts. Overall, the site is a gem.

I enlarged the area with the most colorful and delicate plumes but some of the finer detail is not in focus enough to please me and I will make another attempt to photograph it a little closer.
This is from a recently posted image of a window with dark red shutters. It was suggested I cropped the shutters--not sure which I prefer.
Interseeded cover crops on Jack Boyer farm near Reinbeck, Iowa. Boyer used a spin seeder on trials to test success of seeding a cover crops mix into seed corn when corn is at V4 to V6 stage of growth. This is a Practical Farmers of Iowa trial to determine viability of interseeding cover crops and effect on seed corn yield.

This was taken in July 2010. I don't know why I've only just posted. Not all that happy with the title. Open to suggestions!
