Thanksgiving (Friendsgiving) tablescape put together with the help of Cricut, Disney Family crafts, and Party City tableware.
This is the equivalent to the Cricut sampler "George and Basic Shapes" - only I made mine out of an old Super Nintendo game, some watch parts, tubing, and a bit of wire.
Made this card with "Tilda Paper" and the frame is cut with my Cricut. For the flower I used one of the flowers of the "Words and Flowers"set by Hero Arts. I got this set as a part of my prize.
03/2011: Dark Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Buttercream. The sock monkeys were made out of gum paste and then hand-painted. I cut the letters with my Cricut and then painted them red.

Stamps used are Hero Arts, and the Bee Hive is cut with my Cricut
Front of birthday card. I used floating medium and Thicket paint to make the bottom colored area. I painted One Stroke vine and rosebuds (actually just an "S" stroke for the buds). I used Papier dimensional paint to add the calyxes, and white for the dash n dot embellishment. I cut leaves and a label with my Cricut machine and stamped with a Stampin Up birthday greeting. I used my Sakura glaze pen for the leaf veins and label decor.
This hand made birthday card features a rose die cut made with the Cricut, trimming made with glitter, layered backgrounds utilizing scrapbook paper and card stock dry embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. A small pearl embellishment sits in the upper left corner. The sentiment is a stamped image.

8" yellow cake with pineapple buttercream. Owl is cut with Cricut Cake and Animal Kingdom cartridge. Large branches are fondant, small branches and leaves are buttercream.
Design work for Pink Paislee. I combined the Soiree line (the gray paper, green tissue paper and twine), the Daily Junque line (pink graph), an Artisan Element (on bunny tail), a Sweetness clear card (polkadots behind E) and some Artisan Tape (black and white tapes) - all by Pink Paislee. I cut the little bunnies and the Postage E with the Cricut cartridge called, " Martha Stewarts Crafts - Seasonal Cake Art."
It started out as a card, then I decided to scrap these pictures I just took of Kati the other day when she came home from school. Her teacher is so fabulous, she painted their faces herself. My daughter made a list for what she wants for Easter (a letter to the Easter bunny), so I am going to shrink it down and put the list inside the card and use the card for hidden journaling.

CriCut cutting machine. Friends of the Library purchased two CriCut shape cutters -- one for in-library use and one which can be loaned. The service includes an assortment of cartridges which contain different alphabet fonts and image assortments.
The size of CriCut cuts can be adjusted, which gives it great versatility for scrapbooking, fabric applique, or bulletin boards. It can take a while for some of the forms to cut, as the machine is essentially a plotter with a vibrating cutting blade.
