Multiple multiple exposures. Amazing light and colour in this part of the Mediterranean World, I'm not sure that photography can do them justice.

It’s been a bit quiet on the photography front for me recently as we’ve been off on holiday and enjoying a well deserved rest in the sun, so I’m going to have a small diversion from my normal west-country images and share a few photos from Crete. I’m sure normal service will be resumed soon!

Agiroupoli, Crete.
Our last stop was Georgioupoli. Lovely spot, especially the bars around the town square, but the birding was useless. There is a small lake upstream from the town that is mentioned in some reports but all you could do was look across it from a distance.
This swallow was the only bird photographed in the last 3 days and even that was somewhere else - Agriroupoli.
