I'm very passionate about music and I love singing. I also play a bit of acoustic guitar but I'm not very good. hahaha
And I can't read music notation... yet. Someday I will! =D
I've always wanted to sing in a choir so when I was younger I did an audition and got admitted in one. I was so excited but it turned out that the choir was not very good... hahahaha
Without any explanation the maestro would hand us music sheets and tell us to sing. But no one knew how to read the notes. And when we told him that, he just said to keep reading and singing along with the piano that one day it would come naturally... hahahaha
The songs were also in Italian and nobody knew the correct pronunciation so it was very funny to see everybody so confused but pretending to know what they were doing. After the third class nothing improved so I gave up. But not on my dream of being a choir singer. =D
So this image reminds me of those days when I was completely clueless in my choir classes... hahahaha
And it's also part of my "Lost in Translation" series.

I use a name of legendary movie director because of 2 reasons: first I needed rhyme for my photo title and second I love movies from Michael Cimino, unfortunately he died before 2 years :(.
My new design remind me a little of Google Doodle design for special occasion (Christmas, New Year, Easter etc.), what do you think? :o)

About game domino: Domino, small, flat, rectangular block used as gaming object. Dominoes are made of rigid material such as wood, bone, or plastic and are variously referred to as bones, pieces, men, stones, or cards. The traditional Sino-European domino set consists of 28 dominoes, featuring all combinations of spot counts between zero and six. A domino set is a generic gaming device, similar to playing cards or dice, in that a variety of games can be played with a set.
The earliest mention of dominoes is from Song dynasty China found in the text Former Events in Wulin by Zhou Mi (1232–1298). Modern dominoes first appeared in Italy during the 18th century, but how Chinese dominoes developed into the modern game is unknown. Italian missionaries in China may have brought the game to Europe. The name "domino" is most likely from the resemblance to a kind of carnival costume worn during the Venetian Carnival, often consisting of a black-hooded robe and a white mask.

Day 92
------------------------------------------- AULD LANG SYNE --------------------------------------------
Should old acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind ?
Should old acquaintance be forgot, and old lang syne ?
For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne.
And surely you’ll buy your pint cup ! and surely I’ll buy mine !
And we'll take a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne.
We two have run about the slopes, and picked the daisies fine ;
But we’ve wandered many a weary foot, since auld lang syne.
We two have paddled in the stream, from morning sun till dine†;
But seas between us broad have roared since auld lang syne.
And there’s a hand my trusty friend ! And give us a hand o’ thine !
And we’ll take a right good-will draught, for auld lang syne
