The State Library of WA presented an evening with Wade Davis on Tuesday 4 December 2012.

Wade Davis is an ethnobotanist, National Geographic and Explorer-in-Residence who advocates for the preservation of cultural and linguistic diversity.

Thought I'd have a go at some still life, it's just using the wall lights in the sitting room, hence the quite harsh shadows. The background is a chopping board.

Gaming again tonight. Had some jelly sweets left over and had a bit of a creative burst when i got home. With a bit more time I could have probably made this shot better (the 'footprints' are a bit wonky lol) but think I managed to capture what I was aiming for - so happy enough :)

Another Wedding cake made by my wife, (Sweet Loo Loo) with a custom Sloth topper made out of fondant. Yes, that's what they wanted. The cake was a Chocolate/peanut butter with butter creme icing. Rustic wedding used a 4" x 18' Oak slab for base.
