Donna's Diddlings Unique Handmade Crafts,
using my Creative Talent to show my support for the Military Men and Women
who were called to serve in the Persian Gulf,
Oct. 19, 1990.
I was featured in 2 other News Papers around the USA,
our local TV station had a featured story on my “Prayer Bows”;
the ones I put in camo are hand painted.
I had them copy righted. Mrs. Bush got one which she was seen on TV wearing.
I had to get my 3 nieces to help me fill the orders, I sent them all over the world, we made over 3,000 of them.
I made the men as they were requested {not before} dressing them in the uniform colors of the;
Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard plus the Camo dress.
When our military was once again called up for service I made about 10 as a
special request for a lady who I bumped into at a craft store; she was wearing hers from 1990,
when I told her “I made your Prayer Bow” she was happy to see me because the girls in her office wanted their own.
I was again featured in the News Paper as an up-date to the 1990 story.
And that folks is my 15 minutes of fame… 2 times.
