Week 4 creative project

Maroga the fire spirit

Shoot 5 for my photo project was probably my most difficult. I wanted to capture star trails. This involves leaving the shutter of the camera open for a long time to capture the motion of the Earth spinning. It actually looks like the stars are spinning, but it is just the Earth spinning on its axis that causes this effect. However I did not manage to get this, but while dialing in my camera for a failed attempt I did capture this image. It was such a clear night and I am glad I was able to be out there.
