Bright pink rhododendrons are in bloom right by my house. They were the perfect subject to test out my old/new camera I was given. Unfortunately, this will be my only photo taken with the camera. I feel more comfortable with the smaller Canon camera I use. Anyway...please enjoy!

A monk used a chak-pur filled with sand to start creating this mandala. The main colors were orange, yellow, green, light blue, tan with black outlines. A group of monks were at a local university a few years ago. It was interesting to watch the mandala get bigger and more colorful each day.

This is a small bottle of an Italian non alcoholic aperitif drink, called Tacconi. I kept it because of the rough texture and opaque glass. The two colors are coming from two pencils I placed in the bottle, lighting is from natural sunlight.
